Publisher's summary

This audiobook takes the great wisdom of some of the leading exorcists in the Church, including Fr. Chad Ripperger, Fr. Gabriele Amorth, Fr. Jose Antonio Fortea, Fr. Gary Thomas, among others, and packages it into an approachable and intriguing audiobook that conveys, to today’s Catholics, critical insights into the activity of the diabolical and spiritual warfare tactics with which we must be familiar.

These exorcists pull their teachings from the sacred traditions of our faith, the teachings of the fathers and doctors of the Church, the wisdom of exorcists under whom they were trained, and their own extensive experience in the realm of spiritual warfare, deliverance, and exorcisms.

The purpose of this audiobook is to help enlighten Catholics to the spiritual war in which we all find ourselves. Not only is this battle real, but the Church knows it well, and has provided both wisdom and weapons, teachings and sacramentals, to enable Catholics to fight in this battle into which they have all been drafted, and be victorious. “The devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking to devour,” as St. Peter says. These exorcists face this devil, and the many demons who fell with him, as a central part of their spiritual ministry. Let them teach you what they know and impart to you those things that will aid you most in your spiritual life. Allow yourself to be instructed by spiritual masters that you may learn the manner in which the devil attacks you, the weapons you have at your disposal, and the means to find healing for the wounds you have suffered in your life.

Know your enemy. Know his tactics. Know his motives. Know his nature. Know his origin. Know his goal. Know his language. Know his network. Know his strengths. Know his weaknesses. Once this knowledge is obtained, you can more effectively predict your enemy’s behavior, recognize his traps, use the proper preventative measures against him, and drive him away when he persists.

Fascinating stuff

If you're the kind of person whose YouTube binges go back and forth between Dr Taylor Marshall & Sensus Fidelium, you will love this book. A great listen for anyone with an interest in traditional Catholicism, especially if you need something a little more approachable than, say, St Augustine's On the Trinity. Solid narration and, in a way that's tough to describe, very "entertaining."

Easy yet sobering read

This topic is very timely and desperately needed in our current times. Mr Fraune’s book pulls together information from several exorcists and makes it accessible to the common reader. It’s delivery is efficient and effective. This book makes a good quick reference guide on practical steps to take to protest yourself and loved ones from the influence of evil. I highly recommend it.

Great read!!

For those who are interested in how the powers of evil can have a direct effect on our lives, this book is a must read. Not only does Charles Fraune give us the eyewitness accounts from the world's leading exorcists, the author also gives us practical advice about the things we can avoid in our everyday lives that can serve as an invitation to demonic forces.

Great book, distracting narration

I really hate to be unkind, but the narrator of this book uses the strangest accents and inflections. I don’t think he has ever read a book about spirituality and he treats it like he’s reading a child’s book or something. Really weird. My husband bet me that I wouldn’t be able to stand to listen to the whole thing after he listened for a few minutes. So I made myself finish it, but I think I will get the book and read it, because I really was distracted by his strange intonations.

Good information; struggled with the narrator

Although the author shares important information regarding spiritual warfare, the narrator is extremely distracting. I don't like to be critical, but I can't ignore it. The narrator uses the strangest inflections I've ever heard and it made it very difficult to concentrate on the content. It may actually be better to just read the book.

A must read!!

What an eye opener!! The world is trying hard to normalize evil. We as Christians have the responsibility to speak up and stand for the truth. And we can only do that through Jesus Christ 🙏🏼. I recommend this book 💯

Must Read For All Catholics!

Very important book for all Catholics informing us of spiritual warfare. The only thing I did not like is the narrators voice, it was very annoying.

Narrator is not a good fit for this

Great book, great info, Audible needs to pair narrators with the content of the books more appropriately. Spalding is a child's book reader, his voice was so distracting I ended up buying the book to read on my own because of it. To be honest, or was irritating to listen to him. I wish I could get a refund.
