Ugly descriptors like idiot, stupid, etc.?

Really enjoyed almost everything about this series except the way everyone talked down to Lizzy.

A wonderful book from an outstanding series

TB Markinson writes with such honesty, heart and humor. This entire A Woman Lost series is filled with such complex family ties. A Family Woman begins when Lizzie and Sarah, the main couple of the series, find out they are having twins. I do not know how anyone survives the Petrie family, but the great TB puts the FUN in dysfunctional! Although I heartily recommend this book, for maximum enjoyment, I encourage reading this series in order. You will be darn glad that you did!

This is my first audible book and I thought the narrator, Stephanie Murphy, did a superb job with all the voice parts and the speed in which she read. I wonder how many “do overs” she needed from laughing at so many funny parts of the story? Kudos to both the author and narrator!

Great Listen!

This is another great story about Lizzie Petrie. She and Sarah welcome the 'twinks' and Lizzie learns more about her family. Meanwhile, Peter gets some comeuppance for his being a world famous douchebag. Lizzie fans will not be disappointed in the slightest.

Characters brought to life

I have already read the series, but am new to audiobooks. The narrator really brought the characters to life! I had forgotten Maddie was from the south and thought Lizzie's voice was excellent! This added a new dimension to the book. Very entertaining.

Everywhere you look there is family

This book was just as much fun and as emotionally charged as any of the books in this series have been. T. B. Markinson has created such an incredible wealth of characters in the Woman Lost series that there is never a dull moment. Lizzie and Sarah are priceless in their journey to parenthood and as per usual Lizzie is socially overwhelmed. It is fun to watch the characters grow and strengthen relationships and explore new ones. Stephanie Murphy once again brings the group to life with her immense talent as a narrator. I got this audio book from the author.

Loved it!

I loved the story. I was hooked by the lead characters from the book 1. The story is written very smoothly and I can totally relate to it. Can’t wait for another sequel.

Lizzie steps up

Just when you think Lizzie will panic she steps up and really embraces being a parent. She starts to reconnect with her father and learns some of his secrets. With Sarah by her side to calm her Lizzie can get through the drama that is her life. I love all of the characters. Stephanie does a great job with the story as always.

Brilliant sequel

This is the third instalment (without counting the prequel) of the Woman Lost series. I won’t get tired of saying how magnificent this series is and the reason why is one of my very favourites. Markinson writing is, funny, witty and simply brilliant.

I have enjoyed every book in the series; I love how we have been able to witness Lizzie and Sarah’s growth, personally and as a couple. And it’s something we get to see in this book, as well as more of Lizzie’s quirks. There’s nothing like the birth of a baby (or two) to encourage a family reunion. But what happens with a house full of Petries?

I enjoyed this book very much, it’s the funniest so far, and of course the bit of complications, because the Petries are just like that. We got new and some unexpected confessions, a lot of changes, romance, complex family dynamics, heart-warming moments, and the characters we have known and loved so much by now. Also, as the name hints, it’s centred in family, with all the love, joys and difficulties that means to be a parent. Markinson once again did an outstanding job.

It is a very enthralling, captivating, absolutely marvelous story that I like to highly recommend

This one is also narrated by Stephany Murphy and she once again did a fantastic job. She transmits all the feels and emotions, capturing Markinson’s story very well.

“Another awesome book”

First, The narration was supurb, Mrs. Murphy does a wonderful job of bringing the characters alive and really if that part doesnt hold up the rest just doesn't work no matter how great the writing. So 5 stars for Stephanie Murphy...
Second, the story...let’s be honest here, T.B. Markinson is a talented writer. Her characters are well developed and the stories our totally captivating. In this book, The two main characters Lizzie & Sarah are not only faced with the new challenges of becoming parents to twins but also Lizzie has to come face to face with siblings she had no idea existed...a brother she’s always had little to no relationship with seems to be spiraling out of control...A best friend who has no idea what she wants in life and a father who’s always been distant, yet wants a fresh start to a new relationship with her. To which Lizzie is Clueless in how to handle all this family dis function. Thank god she has Sarah to help guide the way...This is another great installment to this series and I truly believe that if you’ve listened to the previous books in this series , well you won’t be disappointed. 5 ⭐️ across the board!
