Zara Riddle moved to Wisteria for a quiet, simple, safe life. Instead, she got ghosts, demon birds, shifters, and even gorgons. Yes, gorgons, the snake-haired ladies you don't want to cross. Luckily for Zara, her family tree is riddled with witchcraft. She may be a late bloomer, but this witch is crafty!

When mysterious forces erase words from the town's books, Zara conjures a magical creature to restore the text. But magic has a mind of its own, and magical creatures love trouble. Pretty soon, the bodies start piling up.

Now Zara must face whoever (or whatever) is behind a dark plot to destroy everything she loves. This time the fight will be tougher than ever. After all, it's hard to battle the forces of evil when you're dead.

Another great story in the World of the Wisteria Witches. This book has humor and lots of excitement. With Zara there is always some trouble brewing. What will it be this time? And how will she get out of trouble this time. This series is great and i look forward to more in this series and the one with her Aunt Zinnia. The narrator is fantastic. I received this book free in exchange for an honest review.at my request, These books are well worth a credit or money you pay for them.

Fantastic read.

Zara can be a bit annoying and childish which throws me off the story sometimes but she is quite a character. Chet is getting annoying and I’m wondering what his deal is just like Zara. So I guess on to the next book! Lol can’t wait to see what happens.

A good way to pass the time.

I really enjoyed getting back into Zara's world. There's so much pep and happy feelings even in the darkest of moments and that is one of the biggest reasons that I love this series. Being introduced to the magical world with Zara really makes this story even more interesting especially with all the mishaps along the way. I really enjoyed the spirit walker that showed up and the twist that gave to the story. This is a great book and Tiffany did an amazing job making this story light and cheery.

Mishaps through Magic

Although this is the second in the series and pretty much picks up where the last one ended, the internal story arc is complete and this novel can stand on its own. Zara has only recently discovered she is a witch and remains a novice at spellcasting. Witches are not the only paranormals in Wisteria although everyone seems to be pretending there is no magic in town. Fraught with wry wit and delightfully narrated by Tiffany Williams, our mystery tale crosses genres with insouciance, providing a great deal of entertainment.

Steampunk?

Zara recently discovered she is a witch. Not just any witch, a spirit charmed one. Ink is disappearing from books. She overhears a conversation about an machine that erases things. Her aunt Zinnia makes a bookworm dough that smelled so good that she puts her tongue to it with disastrous results. Her aunt binds her powers for misuse of magic at a time when she really needs it.

Will Zara be able to stop the machine from erasing people without magic?

The book is funny. Zara has a sharp-tongued whit that is amusing. She really should listen to other people and she might not find herself in mystical trouble as often.

I received this book from the author to listen to and this is my truthful review.
