Fast-paced, action-packed … Timothy Zahn’s book is exactly what his fans would expect – sharp writing, good action, and good character development…Thrawn: Alliances is a great book. The only complaint: there’s just one book left in the trilogy and there needs to be more.

It’s always fun to see two bigwig baddies passive-aggressively needle each other

A Darth Vader as you can't imagine. and Thrawn being Thrawn. let's hope they take some of this store to make a new cartoon between Grand admiral Thrawn and Ezra in Unknown region of the galaxy far far way.

it's different from book 1 but I absolutely love it.

A very good audiobook!

Not quite as good as the previous book about Thrawn but still a lot to be learned and quite entertaining too. I hope the Thrawn Journal will reappear in the future books.

Good star wars book, but...

A good overall star wars adventure, although it does not focus that much on Thrawn, but more on Darth Vader and the relationship between a young jedi and a soldier of the Chiss Ascendancy
