Much better than her other works

This story is written so much better than some of her other works. Better story line and is pretty decent overall. The beginning books are very much like The Selection but with vampires, but still a good listen.

A good story

I read the Dark World: The Faerie Games series by this author not having read any of her books previously. This series fills in all the gaps I had from that series like how Avalon came to be.

This story starts out with a good believable storyline and goes from there. The story unfolds in a very believable way which made it enjoyable. It also helps us to understand the main character from the Dark World: The Faerie Games series. I have to admit after the first series I wasn't planning on reading anymore books by this author. Then I came across this book in my library and decided to listen to it while cleaning. I like it much batter.

If your new to this author be warned the vampires and other creatures are not the ones of popular novels which can be described a soft porn. No, here you will find quality writing that sticks the legends. This series was written for all ages and in a time where so many novels are going down the path of sex in everything this author hasn't which is good. I will pass this series on to some friends who's teenagers love these stories.

The overal story was good for a lengthy listen for just 1 credit. The story develops kind of slow but it does have some good highlight parts. However if this was sold separately I do not believe I would have moved on to the second book. She is a talented author. The Elementals Series by her is one of my favorite.
