After listening to books one and two I jumped back to this prequel and pretty glad I did. the first two books touched on the events of this book but now it's connected.

Imaginative, Fun and Sexy!

Well thought-out and well written. Not like any other paranormal series I've read so far!

Should be book one

I have read and own the entire series. That is to say most of the kindle books and all the audible.
Which I might add says a lot about the series. So yes this is a definite 5 star Audible as are the the others and of course should be read and listened to in order.

Hard Boiled meets Urban Fantasy

What made the experience of listening to Raw Deal the most enjoyable?

Julia Motyka is a great narrator. Great story, great narrator, perfect match.

What other book might you compare Raw Deal to and why?

Maybe Jennifer Estep's Elemental Assassin series. It's not a good comparison but they share something. Not sure what but it's the first thing I thought of.

Which character – as performed by Julia Motyka – was your favorite?

Amber Farrell is great.

This entire series is great. It starts quite simply and develops in complexity as it progresses.
