But Sean's past threatens the safety of Havoc - and everything Ryker holds dear. Worse, Ryker's hiding secrets of his own. Soon it's obvious that the adrenaline rush can't keep them together anymore. But maybe love can.

An mm romance but…..

It could be read from a“”strong independent female” POV easily. Too many silly fights and repetitive dialogue. Also it’s like the author did her research on cars and didn’t want to waste a single bit of detail when describing them. Too many details overpowering my thoughts . I had to take breaks to regroup and finish. The authors build up to Rush and Rykers interaction was also long winded as heck. And “god damn” is literally… every other word. For reference just listen to the sample for book two. It’s said like six time in 4mins. The story is good but it’s not gut wrenching good. It’s also not a “steamy tale” if you’re looking for something like that. The heated scene were too detailed and still missed the mark somehow.

A biker m/m romance?? Crazy but Jakes makes it work. Her characters are likeable and the story is different & interesting. I am comfortable in the worlds she creates and disappointed when the story is over. I will listen to this one & all of her audible books again.

I love, love, love this story!

Ryker and Rush's story was a wild one. The chemistry between these two was on point all the way. The suspense was such a thrill. And the plot was exciting. Oh, and the narration did SE Jakes' novel justice. I so highly recommend their story. ENJOY!
