More then spicy it also has a very cliff hanger story attached

I’m not into this series for the spicy secens. If you removed those you’d still have a gripping tale the spicy is also entertaining however it’s not why I’ve decided to re read/listen to the entire series while reading multiple spinoffs

I hate Charlotte

I love the story. You know the story is well written and good when you HATE the heroine but still love the story. For me, Charlotte is like the sister in law that your brother loves to death and you just don't like. I respect the development of the characters and story line.

Intrigue & Trust

Charlotte Dennis managed to do something no other woman or submissive has ever done before; she caught the formidable Ian Taggart's heart. Or did she? Was capturing Ian's heart all part of a mission or were her feelings real? That's what Ian has to figure out when the wife that he saw die in his arms, suddenly reappears on his doorstep 5 years later. He is still pursuing international terrorist, Eli Nelson, and whether Charlotte is working with him to kill all members of McKay Taggart. The third person narrator does a fabulous job of keeping the reader informed of Charlotte's true intentions, and the struggles she goes through in her attempts to convinve everyone of her sincerity. Equally, the narrator provides a bit of comic relief providing the reactions of the various members of the MK team.
The intrigue in this story is two-fold. First, Ian and the team need to uncover Nelson's evil end game before they can come up with a plan to try and capture him. Second, we have the emotional intrigue as Ian continues to test and push Charlotte to crack with her true intentions not believing that she's returned for him. Ian is not an easy man to win over so Charlie has her work cut out for her.
I loved Narrator, Ryan West's portrayal of the entire cast, bringing out the tough side of Ian, the eager brattiness of Charlie, and the witty nature of the various team members. Ian Taggart deserves a happily ever after, and Charlotte Dennis is there to make sure he gets it!

OMG! Love, Love this series.

Lexi Blake is one great story teller. I've loved this series from the beginning. It just gets better with each book.
