Dark and twisted

I am enjoying the series however, this one really took a turn to a very dark and twisted side. I actually cringed several times listening to the book and and a couple of times had to skip forward. I don’t know if I would really classify this as a romance series anymore. It’s more crime thriller or suspense, which I also enjoy but just be aware if you expecting a bdsm romance book this is more of a suspense with a twist of bdsm added in for flavor.

Real and true...

A good storyline, can’t wait to see what happens next! Especially with Theo and Erin....That book doesn’t have the best reviews but I have to know....

One good thing

Liked the story had a hard time fnis1hing after the lost of Theo so many unanswered questions. However extremely happy for Tenn and Hope!

Great from beginning to end...

The book keeps you on the edge at all times. Love the way Ten turned out to be. There's tears, suffering, ups and downs... loved it. You'll enjoy this book.

A thriller that makes you want more Lexi Blake

The sexy character of Tennessee Smith returns with the beautiful Faith as his first sub. It's not her first time around, but Master T performs beyonds her wildest dreams even though he's undercover at first.
Ten never does anything bad except getting captured by the bad guys. These lead up to some very big game changers for the whole team. Well worth the read!!

Heart breaking

A very touching story! It made me cry towards the end. The narrator has a very smooth and sexy voice. He brings this series to life.

Amazing!

I will be honest, I wasn't sure if I'd get in to this one, as Tex wasn't a favorite of mine but boy, was I wrong. Another amazing story. Ryan West is the BEST.

Not Much Heat

I thought the narration of Ten and Faith's story was excellent. I also really enjoyed this book, but maybe not for the reasons I expected. A definite 3.5 stars read.

The OP was intriguing. It took me down paths I didn't necessarily expect. From the beginning of Ten and Faith's relationship, I knew something was up but didn't expect the level of craziness. The description of Ten's torture was intense.

I love the camaraderie between the McCay-Taggert Bunch and all of the operatives and significant others that get pulled into their circle.

There was a decent amount of action and suspense in this story, along with a couple of "hold your breath" moments. There was one couple I was surprised about. Then I thought they were just part of the op. Then I was surprised that they were more than the Op.

The further I go into this series, it seems like there is more and more inner dialogue, and less between characters. With the number of characters in each book, you would think the inner dialogue would be toned down a bit. Although, I do love the humor in these books.

I have to say that the Ten/Faith relationship really took a back seat in this book; at least for me it did. I know they communicated for at least 3 months before they actually meet, so their relationship was not instalove. I didn't feel any real heat, connection, chemistry, romance, or buildup of sexual tension. I felt that Ten wanted to keep her safe, but I felt the safety factor more than the romantic factor.

The scene with Erin was heart wrenching. I didn't think she had it in her. If I could have experienced that same level of emotion with Ten and Faith, I would not hesitate to up this review to 5 stars.

I have to move on, because this particular Op, didn't exactly end on a cliffhanger, but it did leave a couple of loose ends.
