I’ve known the name Vivian Arend for years now but this is the first book of hers that I’ve read. LAIRD WOLF was a rather enjoyable PNR story. It was light and a bit fun. The two creepy heirs of the estate that the FMC was cataloguing were always obviously up to something and it made uncovering the secrets of the manor a bit delightful.

Tatiana Sokolov Has been in the narrating business for over a decade now and it showed in her performance. She did a fantastic job and her accents were wonderful!

I hope this is not the last of this series. The writing is superb and the narrator is one I want to hear over and over.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The couple--Addie and Damien. There were just cute. Sure they had some baggage--don't we all. She used her mad skills to keep him at a distance while she wanted to and he fought his wolf to stay at a distance even though it was last thing he wanted to do. Their teasing banter and eventually succumbing to their desire was a fun ride.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I giggled, laughed all through this one. Loved it.

Any additional comments?

This was a light-hearted read with fun characters and charming sub characters. The bad guys who were not really evil, just not nice people, got theirs and the good guys got theirs too, and theirs was really steamy. A solid recommend.

What a strange relationship between man and his wolf, and it takes a small woman to open the lines of communication. What a fun and engaging story, love the characters and the narrator. Can't wait for more
