It's been four weeks since Ember Brycin witnessed what her powers are capable of. The Electrical Current Storm (ECS) has turned Seattle, Washington into a natural disaster zone. The death toll is in the thousands with countless others homeless and hungry.

Em needs help but doesn't know who to trust: Lars, the mystery man Torin told her to find? Torin, the Seelie Queen's personal knight, who has sworn to keep Em safe? Or Eli, who wants to turn her over to the Unseelie King, but whom she has an undeniable, intense connection with?

No matter what she chooses she will probably lose - her life or everything and everyone she loves.

Struggled with this book.

As I've mentioned in other books I detest story lines that have to insert love triangles or some other hot guy she makes out with. It just hurts. She finally has sex with Eli but its short lived with his evil brother interrupting them and adding more lies which creates her to assume they're true thus leaving Eli angry and she uses her powers to hurt him. Ugh. I just wanted to throw my phone down. To be honest, I skipped portions of her dream scapes with "whats his face" and make out session with that spanish guy when she's training at the dark under Lord's (demon) house. Again.....makes me sick to my stomach so I cheat and skip. Also, I wish they hired a narrator that could do men's voices somewhat but this narrator uses her same voice for almost everyone! Now, I will give her a great thumbs up for the way she expresses her emotions! Awesome job on that but just no voice variations on the characters. You have to really pay attention.

Riveting. twists & emotions beautifully narrated

I don't know how she does it, but Stacey Marie Brown always keeps me eager for more even when she throws horrifying plot twists, keep-you-up mysteries, and gut - wrenching emotions in with the romance, triumphs and support between her seductive boys, kick-butt ladies and amusing mystical side characters. I get totally roped in, and with Michelle Sparks' amazing narration, I found excuses to work *longer* each day so I could keep listening. She has a great talent of making the story so vivid I feel a part of it. Can't wait for the release of the next book on audio!

Oh yes! Michelle Rocks!

What makes your favorite series even better? An awesome narrarator. I love the way Michelle brings my favorite and not so favorite characters to life! I love this series and being able to enjoy the audio version does my heart happy. Can't wait for Dwellers of Darkness to release!!!

Narrator is so annoying!

She needs to seriously chill out on the breathing while talking and the yelling is really old. She sounds so bitchy and immature.
I cannot stand it.
