Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, any time you find yourself ready for a new book, as I do every few days, Craig Johnson and George Guidall are a great choice. I would have given 5 stars but, although creative, I thought the back and forth from present to Viet Nam was just a little too heavy. What other book might you compare Another Man's Moccasins to and why?
Its a bit of James Llee Burke's Dave Robicheaux thoughtful southern cop feeling, but not so poetic or heavy, with a touch of Michael Connelly's flair for distinct character and mystery development.Which character – as performed by George Guidall – was your favorite?
Thats the real strong part of this series, very well developed characters all. My favorite Henry adds spirituality and strength to every book, followed by Walts spicy, foul mouthed deputy "Vic" and of course Walt Longmire himself as an always stabilizing influence.I'm hooked

extraordinary personal and military experiences with the Vietnamese people from the late 60's during the Vietnam War and bring it all together for an excellent read and adventure. I really enjoyed the first four books in your Longmire Series. Continued success in all that you do! Rp
Excellent! Only Craig Johnson can bring together.

If you could sum up Another Man's Moccasins in three words, what would they be?
Great character development! By this fourth installment I was already so hooked on this series that I can't stop listening, but I really loved reading about Walt and Henry's history in the war. The flashback's are very revealing about the history, motivation and predudices of otherwise strong, silent type characters. What does George Guidall bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
George Guidall is a fantastic narrator. He has given such a distinct voice to these characters! Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
So far, and this has been true of every Walt Longmire book I've read/listened to, the epilogue has left me in tears...every time.Any additional comments?
Craig Johnson is a great writer and George Guidall is the perfect narrator for these stories, which I highly recommend! Once you start you won't be able to stop listening!Another great Longmire book!!

in this, the #fourthbook in the series brings memories of Walt and his best friend #henrystandingbear of their time serving in Vietnam, where Walt cut his law enforcement teeth as a #marinecorps #provostmarshall criminal investigator. These memories are resurrected as Walt investigates the death of a young #vietnamese girl where a war damaged member of the #crownation, himself a military veteran, at the center of investigation in a state where Vietnamese people are few and far between. This book broaches the uncomfortable discussion on racism, prejudice and stereotyping where characters confront their own perceived biases.
