Publisher's summary

Travis Vega has been a screw-up his whole life. Standing in the shadow of his perfect brother, he couldn't seem to please their father, a four-star admiral in the navy. Soon he stopped trying. Instead of becoming an officer in the navy like his father dreamed, Travis enlisted in the marines. But being the point man for a scout sniper team isn't all it's cracked up to be. Now he finds himself in a familiar place--standing in someone else's shadow. He'll never be like Lolly, the man he replaced, never fit in, never be good enough. When he thinks he can't mess up his life any more, he gets his team leader's beloved little sister-in-law pregnant. Caleigh Desmond lives in a world of happy dreams. Even an unplanned pregnancy can't dim her rosy view of life. But when that pregnancy leads to marriage with a man she barely knows, life begins to take a turn for the worse. Now Caleigh will be forced to grow up and deal with real life. When the life she has isn't the life she planned, will she cope? Or will she finally break? As Travis and Caleigh take their first steps into the grownup world, they'll have to decide not only if love is real, but if it's enough to keep them together when the whole world falls apart.

Pretty good Virtual Voice, very good story

This is the final book in this series featuring the wonderful characters - military men and the women who love them. I love the characters and the humor sprinkled into the story. This book has some tough, sad things in it, but the ending is happy. The Virtual Voice performance is pretty good. The price is great.
