The Science of Us

This is one of the author's stronger novels, featuring a plot rich in contemporary themes—our place in the universe, gender identity, family, joy, and love. This novel is filled with empathy and insight, drawing me in from the very first page. The plot captivated me, and by the end, I was in tears. The twist had me screaming with joy—Ms. TJR truly got me! Lol. As a David Bowie fan, romantic, and science nerd, I highly recommend this book. It celebrates the power of love and hope—a love story for everyone. If your only focus is gender identity, you're missing the bigger picture. A must-read!

Incredible, Transformative, Deeply Moving

This is the most incredible, moving, gut wrenching, transformative audiobook I have heard in a very long time!!! I'm in a puddle of congested tears having been unable to move from one position since I arrived home and began listening to the final chapters! This is definitely one of the most supremely moving books I have ever heard, narrated by one of the most brilliant narrators of all time and fame (Julia Whelan) and though it is labeled fiction, it could totally be a true story. It is a very, very rare masterpiece of experience imparting, wonder and awe inspiring, revelatory storytelling... what a gem of a book, the likes of which one could never forget in a whole lifetime, So Moving, So honest, just incredible!! if you ever need to be transported and transfixed into someone else's life, and experience, this book will do it!! I'm gonna write to the Author, I'm in total awe of what she's accomplished with this book!! It is called: ATMOSPHERE, by Taylor Jenkins Reid. It's a Real Show Stopper!!

A love story above all

I thought about Sally Ride while listening to this and what she must have gone through. Really interesting story

TJR does Space!

It was sweet story with so many interesting characters and settings at NASA or the space stations. It was a great listen.

This is a perfect book

Taylor Jenkins Reid is my favorite author. I have read all of her books and this one is hands down was my favorite book of hers and of the year so far . It’s beautiful and funny and sweet and the details of this story just come alive as if you were right there . I can’t recommend this book without giving it 10 stars!!

An emotional roller coaster

This book… it killed me, blew my mind, broke my heart, repaired it, made me laugh, cry, get angry all at once. I would give it so many more stars of were able to do so here.
The story covers difficult topics and deals with homophobia and archaic beliefs and rules of the past. It is edge of your seat, intriguing and enveloping. The main characters are so easy to love and a side character just as easy to be appealed and disgusted by.
This book is one I will listen to again. The narration is excellent. Julia Wheelan is one of my favorite narrators and does a stellar job.
