Best overall audio book I’ve ever listened to! It was so well read and writes

TJR hits it out of the court again!
Carrie Soto had me on the edge of my seat, then my bed, from start to finish…which I did in one day! This book is for everyone who loves competition, but especially those who’ve dedicated their lives to their sport…and the parents who have nearly killed themselves to make their child’s dreams come true.

TJR fans will love the name dropping as well!

Taylor does it AGAIN!

Wasn't sure I'd like this one due to Carrie Soto's less than flattering introduction in Malibu Rising. Add to it the fact that I had zero knowledge (or interest) in Tennis and I was certain I wouldn't make it past the first chapter...but as usual, Taylor Jenkins Reid pulled me in and got me hooked! I loved this book. A beautifully written story about the complexities of life and love set amid the heart racing world of professional sports. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend- Get into the head and life of an elite athlete

TJR has a rare ability to not just tell a compelling story but finds the particular jargon tone and voice of the moment and subject she writes about. I am in awe. Completely enjoyed this book beginning to end.

Another Delightful Story by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Cast, story, performance, tennis details= WONDERFUL. Loved how she created a story out of a minor character in Malibu Rising. This book was so fun to read/listen to. 100% recommend!

LOTS of Tennis

If you’re into detailed play-by-play tennis action this is the book for you. The relationships are well developed and the story is sound. I’m not a sports fan and still enjoyed the story.

Amazing book

Loved the booked and loved the audio version so much! So much fun!!!! It was read with such fun and passion!

Not my genre

I’m a big fan of this author. I probably shouldn’t have downloaded this book without reading what the book is about.

My husband is a big sports fan. There is always a game on in our home. If you like sports, you’ll like this book. If you roll your eyes at the thought of one more game, this is probably not the book for you.

I also found it sad that her mom just wanted her to be happy and it took 37 years before she figured how to be happy.

Halfway through and loving it

All the narrators have been great, wish my favorite, Julia Whelan, was the main reader but the story is great. About halfway through and I’m enjoying every chapter.

TJR Does It Again!

Wow. I didn’t expect to love this book. I cringed with a lot of the narration and Carrie Soto wasn’t a character that I really liked…in the beginning. But by the end of this book, I was in tears. It’s an amazing story and I loved the growth that Carrie goes through. My only regret is I can’t listen to it for the first time ever again.
