Chapel Crest isn't for the weak. It's for those who wish to watch the world reduced to ashes and screams. The Watchers went too far. Locking me up with the monster who tried to kill me eight years ago wasn't the way to win my heart. It was the way to break it.
When Seth comes to collect on the bet he made with the Watchers, I know I'm in for a world of hurt.
Because Seth Cain isn't the nice boy I once knew. He's a demon in this asylum from hell.
And if he finds out the Watchers have already claimed me, he could very well finish what he started all those years ago.
To make matters worse, I'm the target of more than just the cruelty of the Watchers and Seth. There are worse things lurking in the dark at Chapel Crest, and I don't know if I can overcome all of it.
None of this is about my sanity. It's about my survival.
Ashes is a dark asylum academy romance with multiple love interests and a girl who will never choose. Everyone is a little crazy at Chapel Crest.

Ashes
When you have a phenomenal cast, you get an excellent audio. I’m so into this story, I’m going to have to eyeball read the rest, because I can’t wait for the audios to drop. The excellent story, all props to KG Reuss for giving these voice actors so much to work with.
Book 1 Church: the backbone, the leader and I ultimately feel the redeemer. Intro to our FMC, with her backstory.
Book 2 Bells: awe this one fills in some gaps and sets us up for the rest of the story. Answers so many questions and begs you to open your mind.
Book 3 Ashes: leaves you hurting crying pining and wondering.
And here I am trying to write a review and fail to find the crucial words to convince whomever’s eyes come upon this; to come on this journey. Root for the bad guys and keep your tissues close. Be careful. These books will make you forget to cook, eat clean and breathe all at the same time.
On to the next…

This book was raw, emotional, and utterly brutal. Stitches’ pain was almost unbearable to witness, especially because he didn’t have the escape Sirena had. The trauma he endured left me gutted. And the rest of the boys—though not at the mercy of Sully and the wards—were suffering in ways that hurt just as much. For the first time, we really see how deeply these men feel beneath their chaos, and it broke me.
And then the ending… I’m left reeling. I’m not crying, I’m not moving on—I’m just confused in the best way. What does it mean?? I need answers immediately, because I can’t stop thinking about it.
The narration is what pushed this experience over the edge. Stella Ripley, Joe Arden, Edward Black, J. Tipstone, Michael Gallagher, and Sean Masters delivered a phenomenal full cast duet performance. They didn’t just read the story—they embodied it. Every line was charged with emotion, menace, or heartbreak, making the atmosphere of Chapel Crest feel terrifyingly real. It’s one of the most immersive, unforgettable performances I’ve ever listened to.
