better than anticipated

Whoa! I was skeptical about this being a high school book but I went through the whole story in one sitting! It gripped me literally from the first chapter and never let up. It keeps leaving you wondering what is going to happen, and you know its going to be bad but you aren't sure how its going to play out exactly. There was of course all the high school themes- mean girl and her crew, jocks, and other stereotypes. But it was done in a way that didn't feel like I was reading about immature people. I disliked alot of characters, but that angst kept me going. There is alot of talk of sex but there isn't alot of it in this book, I'm sure the RH stuff will come. I'm looking forward to jumping right into book 2, and then I know anxiously waiting until book 3 comes out. I cant wait to see some groveling :)

Wtf Cliffhanger 😡

I usually won’t get a book unless all of them are released but I didn’t know it was a series I am so mad I freaking hate cliffhangers. When is the next one coming out ????????

The beginning of an obsession

I’ve already read all of the book in the Chaos Universe, so I decided to start over with the audiobooks and I was not disappointed! The beginning of the story with Rosie and her horsemen is filled with ups and downs but I loved every minute! The cliffhanger ending is giving “who’s afraid of little old me? Well you should be” 😉

Intrigued

At first I really wasn’t into the story. The MC was whiny but I figured out that it was the narrator portraying her like that. After I got pst that the story line picked up and the MC became spunkier. Interested to see what happens in book two!

wonderful ride

I loved this book. I couldn't stop listening. I wanted to know what Rosei would choose to do the whole time. I had a feeling the lost thing would be a problem. CLIFFHANGER MUCH? ready for book 2.

Awesome Story & Narration🎧 Captivating & Intense!

Wow, this is a dark and twisted bully romance, it is high in angst and it got under my skin at times but I found the story so mesmerizing that I could not put the book down. K.G. Reuss is a gifted author, I enjoyed her writing style, she created interesting and complex characters and storylines. Fox and Rosie lived next door to each other since they were kids, they were best of friends, until Fox abruptly ended their friendship. They both attend the same H.S. Fox is one of the most popular, he and his friends, Cole, Enzo and Ethan practically rule the school. Rosie was not part of the “in” crowd, she blended into the background. But somehow she finds herself falling on radar of the most popular kids in school, first the mean girls lead by Juliet go after her. Then her torment is brought up to another level when Fox and his cronies choose her for their next conquest. The author does an amazing job building up the characters and their relationships, including Fox and his friends. She gives you enough details for the moment but holds back enough making you want to know more and wonder what the deal with them, as well as with Fox. Rosie is the only one we really get to know, I was rooting for her the entire book and was happy to see her grow as a person. This is a great reverse harem bully romance, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, heartfelt and emotional moments, some thrilling ones too and sexual tension that is through roof. This book may take you out of your comfort zone at times but stick with it because it is so worth it. K.G. Reuss, thank you for this awesome book and for the emotional rollercoaster ride. I loved the ending and am looking forward to what comes next in this series, I hope it comes out on audio soon.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Sarah Puckett is a talented narrator and versatile voice artist. She covers the roles for all the characters, gives each their own distinct voice which makes it easy to follow along and tell who is who. Her portrayal of the characters is spot on, she grasps their personality as well as their attitude, making them sound just as I am picturing them to sound. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work as she captures the characters emotions and projects them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

One of my favorite stories ever!!!!!!!!!

Ok I have read a lot of HR books and this one is at the top of my list.

This story once you are done with all 4 books has so much character growth and detail that I feel in love with them. And I can’t wait to see what the horseman get up to next!!!

K G Reuss is a wonderful author. I have read everything by her that I can get my hands on. She does write a little dark. So if you don’t like being in the dark her books might not be for you. IMO! So go to her website and look at her trigger warnings before starting a series.

Just remember that if you can handle the dark come on over we have cookies!!!

Love the characters and story. Definitely couldn't stop listening. Highly recommended. And that ending wow.

Blackmailed by the Bad Boys!!

Rosalie and Fox used to be best friends when they were younger, something happened now Fox hates her. Rosie is badly bullied by the cool girls at the school aka Fox's girlfriend. One day something changes and Fox actually prevents some bullying. Rosie thinks this might be an opening to discuss their history but that is not the case. Fox, Ethan, Cole & Enzo use a situation at a party to blackmail Rosie. Rosie must agree to all of the boys demands or Fox will send a compromising video to the world. This is a RH and there are some HAWT sexual scenes. Rosie gets to know each other boys through their blackmail scheme and begins to care for them. She even gets Fox to open up about what happened to make him hate her. Everything is going great and Rosie is ready to commit to guys for real, when something happens to change everything. This books does end on a cliff hanger. Rosie goes from a "weak" nerd into a strong female that actually stands up for herself in this book. I can't wait for book 2. Sarah is amazing, as always. I will pretty much read anything narrated by Sarah. I believe this is my first book by KG Reuss. I did love the darker elements of this book and how strong the h turned out to be. The boys were freakin' hot too. #AudioObsessionReviewer

I admit this is my first rodeo with K. G. Reuss, but it definitely won't be my last. I listened to the audiobook and damn it couldn't stop.
Fox and Rosalie were best friends and then they were became enemies and only Fox knows why. Then one day she ends up on his radar again. I can't wait to listen to the next book in the series.
The narrator does a good job.
