Just lloovveee this series, except one thing. My Valen :(

Boy this series was a ride, and a great one. It took me a while to be okay with the male narrator, Julio, but ended up loving him now. He does a wonderful job at bringing each character to life. For the small things that shocked me or took me by suprised, I enjoyed it. It is dark, but I guess when your mind and possible soul is already dark, not alot was shocking shocking lol. I found myself already knowing what will happen lol and rooting for it haha. Only thing that bums me out is Valen. 🥺🥺🥺🥺😢😭

I get it, I suppose. But a big part of me still wants Valen and Jess together. Just as much as I want her with Reid. lol. Why Carmen, why?! lol 😆

And yes, it was a spoiler for me as well, I saw he has his own book too. I want to read it becuase I miss the character already, but I dont want a different love interest for him lol.

Over all, I connected alot with Jess' story. I loved Gia's. wish we had hers finished out, with us knowing all the details. But I get it, to transition to another story it flows that way. But still. Again Carmen, why? lol 😆

Another great listen. ill wait for the next ones to come out in audible, in the mean time I shall buy and write my notes in the margins lol.

EPIC END TO THE FIRST 3 BOOKS

Such a great new author and wild new series. Helped me get back into my TBR!

Not the biggest fan

Sadly, this book wasn’t what I was hoping it to be. I left off with book two saying how I wish that Jess had her own book instead of the multiple POVs we had in book 2. I was really into Gia and Dravin’s story and it kept getting interrupted by Jess’. Well I guess Jess got her own book with this one, and Gia and Dravin were side characters, but I just feel their story is unfinished so I wasn’t sure why I was already reading Jess’.

As far as the audio, I’m not sure if it was rushed to be released but there are several occasions where the female narrator started over but didn’t take her first take out so it repeats a couple of the words.

I’m going to continue the series because I do enjoy them and the fast pace.
