Millions of adults and children are discovering that the reason they can't seem to get organized, stop procrastinating, sit still, pay attention, and finish what they started is not a lack of self-discipline but, rather, an inborn neurological condition: Attention Deficit Disorder, or ADD.

From the authors of Driven to Distraction -- their bestselling study of Attention Deficit Disorder -- here is the new book that provides essential information for all those concerned with ADD: the estimated 15 million Americans suffering from it, their families and friends, and concerned professionals.

In Answers to Distraction, Drs. Hallowell and Ratey respond to the questions about ADD. The result is a "user's guide" to ADD presented in a question-and-answer format ideal for even the most distractable listener.

Accessible, concise, and leavened with humor, Answers to Distraction is an indispensable primer for anyone interested in, or affected by, Attention Deficit Disorder.

The bestselling authors of Driven to Distraction respond to the most frequently asked questions about Attention Deficit Disorder.

As a clinician who has ADHD, and works with persons with ADHD, I appreciate how well Ed and his colleagues work to put our experiences into words for the neurotypical person. This books acts as an excellent companion to his other works and adds additional information such as age appropriate questions and responses for children and teens, information about exercise and work strategies, and even tinnitus as being potentially overstimulation instead of true tinnitus. Even though I already know so much about ADHD, I always take away new gems from these works. I will be adding the paperback to my collection with reference tags.

Excellent companion to Ed's works

Good practical advice and must have basic knowledge on ADD. The performance is pretty terrible though.
