Publisher's summary

All paths lead to destruction in the new Torpedo Ink novel from number one New York Times best-selling author Christine Feehan.

Savin "Savage" Pajari is convinced he's not worth a damn thing. He's not like his brothers. He's a sadistic monster, a killer - a man no woman could truly love. So it completely throws him when a stranger risks her life for his, pushing him out of the way and taking the hit that would have sent him six feet under. If he had any kind of sense, he'd leave her alone, but Savage can't get the woman with a smart mouth and no sense of self-preservation out of his head. With one kiss, he's lost.

Seychelle Dubois has spent her entire life not feeling much of anything, until Savage comes along sets her whole body on fire. Kissing him had been a mistake. Letting him get close would be a catastrophe. He's the most beautiful - and damaged - man she's ever met. He has a way of getting under her skin, and what he's offering is too tempting to resist.

Seychelle knows so little about Savage or the dangerous world of Torpedo Ink, but his darkness draws her like a moth to a flame. Loving him could mean losing herself completely to his needs - needs she doesn't understand but is eager to learn. But what Savage teaches her could destroy her.

Slight issue, nothing major

Somewhere there is a mess up. What reads as Chapter 9 in the audio book is Chapter 8 in the paper back copy. I will amend if it straightens out further into the book. I do love the change up for the gentleman reading. Savage definitely needed a rougher sounding voice.

It's an audible error. Just the chapter headers. Something that can be easily remedied.

Narrator change

Love this series and I am so happy Savage got his happy ending (as happy as it can be). The narrator did a great job, but it was shocking to hear a different narrator than the rest of the series. Minor pronunciation differences, but they didn't distract from the story.

Better than anticipated.

Some of the reviews were off putting but if someone understands BDSM & the fact there are those individuals that enjoy this lifestyle, then move on with the storyline I did enjoy most of the book. It was slow in parts and I would have preferred a more in depth development of the characters.

Great series but not for the faint of heart

I guess each is considered a standalone however, I feel you need to read/listen to them all to get the true effect on how abused this club was as kids & it’s amazing what kind adults they’ve grown into. This series does have more sex and usually the kinky kind based on what they were made do. So it’s not your normal romantic suspense, Ms Feehan does a great job writing about true life experiences and they’re not usually nice & sweet cause this world we live in isn’t either. I adore Ryan West as a narrator.

I have difficulty with this narrator wen he attempts females, he fits with the guys but it grates on me when he does females.

Savage’s Salvation

Going into this book I was afraid that it would be too graphic and difficult to enjoy. It was a pleasant surprise that Savage’s story was told with care. I really appreciated Ms. Feehan’s notice about the two books and that one would be tame while the other more detailed. I really like how the stories always involve all of the characters, giving depth and defining how each supports the others. Good read.
