Harper Connelly 3rd book even better
Where does An Ice Cold Grave rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This story is truly gut wrenching and there will be times that it is truly upsetting but when you are dealing with serial killers it is the case. Young boys are disappearing and a law enforcement individual called on Harper to see if maybe she could find these boys. Many people are skeptical but this officer got Harpers name from some one who believes that she can help. And she does, and finds out such horrible things it's almost destroying her to keep going there are so many dead boys.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Harper and Tollover they make these stories strong.
What does Alyssa Bresnahan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She's great in the emotions and characters, especially the really evil ones, I was very surprised.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Serial killers at their worst.
Any additional comments?
Even thought this is a really tough story to get through, the bad guys are caught. But it was a very unnerving story from start to finish. Ms Harris knows how to keep you on edge to the end.

Same story again.
for the third in the series I hoped that Harper would grow as a character. the mystery in this novel was at least compelling, but the series is more about Harper and her life and this is what drags the story down. I can't continue with a series where I find the main character so unbelievable stupid that the rest of the story becomes background, while I rant at the main character.
I'm sad to say this will be the last Harper Connelly story I'll be reading.

Great book!
I love Charlaine Harris' series, and loved listening to this thriller as an audio book. The reader kept me entranced, and I felt I was right in the midst of the book (a first for an audio book for me). I would definitely recommend this book to others.

Good Book - Good Reader - Can't wait
This was even better than the other Charlaine Harris series. Well read. Next book in the series is due in October, I am very ready. I buy almost nothing in hardcover, but this series is worth it. Just a super listen, too. The characters are believable even if you wonder about their special abilities. The voice is smooth and certain, Good read. Solid plot.

Depressing
I truly liked Charlaine Harris and this series, until now.
This book totally turned me off because it is DEPRESSING because of the child abductions.
Then the book took a left turn with Tolliver, the brother. Totally unnecessary and a distraction.
This could have been an excellent book in a very good series. The idea of the dead communicating from the grave was a great start to a new kind of paranormal experience in books.
I'll try the next book BUT I'm not so sure that I will stick with the series. There are a LOT of buts...

LAME
Would you try another book from Charlaine Harris and/or Alyssa Bresnahan?
No way! Absolutely horrible! There was no mystery, suspense or thrill.
Has An Ice Cold Grave turned you off from other books in this genre?
No.
Have you listened to any of Alyssa Bresnahan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Her performance was the ONLY thing good about the story.
What character would you cut from An Ice Cold Grave?
All.
