very touching

I enjoyed this book. It shows what two people who start out wrong can do with just giving each other a chance.

Excellent entertainment with unacknowledged love, interfering relatives and a fire in the house to bring everyone together.

Great Series*

Love this author. Her writing draws you right in from start to finish!! Warning..... it's a rollercoaster of emotions that will have you hanging on begging for a happily ever after. Highly recommend*

MY TAKE
I really liked Derek and came to love Kate. Connolly does a great job demonstrating how a person can have a tough exterior yet be very vulnerable inside. That was Kate. I didn't get the impression Derek being an obedient son in the first book--not that we saw that much of him--but his portrayal was appropriate to those who show one face to their parents and another to everyone else.

The falling in love part took up a large part of the story. I loved best when they started learning about each other and the rules they'd each grown up with. I got really angry with Derek later for the way he lashed out but the eventual coming together was very touching.

I listened to the audiobook, and Jessica Elisa Boyd did a great job again.

Love. Story

Easy listening clean love story. A couple married for 5 years.....arranged marriage since they were children.....husband lives in the country while wife lives in London. Wife summons her husband home due to a death in the family. So the story begins......

I am enjoying this series immensely. The narration is excellent and the story very enjoyable.

I’m really loving this series and looking forward to the next book! I really like that the author doesn’t write sex scenes! So you can recommend this author to anyone. The narrator is very good also. Highly recommend!

Another great story!

This series has been so enjoyable. I have enjoyed the diversity of characters and the story line. I have listened to them a number of times. Great performance, too!

Kisses only Regency Era romance

This is the second book in the kissss only Regency Era romance series Arrangements by Rebecca Connolly. It has a standalone storyline but does have appearances by characters that have been previously introduced.

I enjoyed listening to this book. The narrator is one of my favorites.

The characters were likeable once you understood why they acting in certain ways. I enjoyed the book and was able to listen to it in one day while working.

Unexpectedly delightful

Based on the set up I did not expect anything. However, creative and exaggerated insults in the beginning managed to surprise me and drew me in. I even laughed at a few (or at the very least snorted). I loved how characters after many years mannaged to finaly find o common ground and form such a beautiful relationship.
