Publisher's Summary

Danger lurks in the unknown....

Marci Simon lives a double life: conservative professor of English by day, and controversial blogger of aliens by night. But when a classified document lands in her lap, her two worlds collide in an explosive revelation of shocking and deadly secrets.

Despite imminent danger at every twist, Marci embarks on an unstoppable quest to expose the terrifying truth. Only she never anticipated the entangled nebula of dark lies, nor the never-ending wormhole the government would spiral through to silence her forever.

Knowledge can kill.

And Marci knows too much. With global security at risk, no one can be trusted. To debunk the stratosphere of deceit, Marci races at the speed of light to escape the grips of the clandestine Extraterrestrial Security Agency (ESA) hunting her before she vanishes like all the others.

But Marci is unique. She's not only the ESA’s prime target, she’s also the skeleton key to the deadliest truth in the history of the universe.

The nightmare is real, and it's only just begun. Marci must take a nefarious leap of faith before her options, and her breaths, evaporate into a black hole for all eternity.

Editorial Review

Talk about "first contact"

In my role with the Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX), Audible’s independent audiobook publishing platform, I support emerging authors and actors as they channel their passion for books and love of performance into awesome-sounding audiobooks. We recently worked with author Kristina Rienzi, who learned how to publish her alien/government conspiracy thriller Among Us as a tense and gripping audio edition. Kristina then held an open casting call to find her voice, picking narrator Lewis Arlt from over 60 auditions. I’m excited to hear how this first-time audiobook pairing brings life to the story of a blogger from the Jersey Shore who gets mixed up in a dangerous plot far bigger than she ever imagined.

Bonus: Follow along behind the scenes as Kristina learns how to cast her narrator and collaborate on her audiobook production. —Scott J., Audible Editor

Good start but then, meh

Too many coincidences. She must not have read any of the books we have read if she things she can "take care of herself." The ending was a let down, not in terms of the actual events, but rather, the story concept. Star Trek is better.

Worst book EVER!!!

Nothing held together, nothing made sense, author apparently didn’t even reread anything for continuity, bad guys became good guys then bad guys. Huh?

Pointless, sophomoric (which in this case is an insult to high school sophomores).

If you have to choose between this book or a root canal without Novocain take the root canal.

Among Us...

We are not alone... but trying to share this information can prove to be deadly. Marci is racing to share the proof before she is silenced for good. If she can only find someone that she can trust.

This thrilling book by Kristina Rienzi kept me on the edge of my seat, with twists I never saw coming.

Lewis Arlt is the perfect narrator for this book!

Narration brought this book to life

I love Among Us and the roller coaster ride it set me on. Twist and turns kept me on the edge of my seat and I am anxiously awaiting a sequel. I didn't know I would love listening to the audio even more! It really brought the book to life. Next up...movie.

Hang on to your seat!

It was a bit slow out of the gate for me, but once the characters began to develop it pulled me in and kept me on the edge of my seat until the final word. Kristina immerses the reader into every scene with her keen ability to paint a scene so clearly with her words, and the narrators ability to bring it to life, you can practically smell the salt air of the Jersey shore. It's a wild ride that I'm sad is over, but the ending sets up perfectly for a sequel!
