Great story

Great listen you really get into the story with a good ending I just couldn’t put it away

The storyline in the series of books flowed well between books. There was a believable storyline from practical and scientific standpoint a good enjoyable, listen

Good story. Just give it a chance.

I read some reviews that they couldn't hear the narrator, but I didn't find that to be the case. He does have a softer voice, but even with a lot of background noise I didn't have an issue hearing with airpods in. I'll admit after a few chapters I almost stopped and was thinking it might not be for me. There were a few firearm details that bothered me, but they weren't deal breakers. Hang in there and once the story gets rolling it kept my interest through all 4 books. Plenty of adventure, action, prepping, community, and evil people to deal with. I feel the performance got even better as I went through the books. In the end I really enjoyed the story and found it to be very believable.

No last book

It was engaging but left you wanting a last book, l looked in several places without finding anything.

Good series

I liked the story, narration was good but hard to follow at times. Theme was great but got a little out there at times.

Just ok

An ok book. I listen to a lot of these. This book never really got me that all enthused. The story was kinda bland. Maybe just me.

Grateful for no bad language

Good story. Likeable/hateable characters. Wish there were more Nathan and family around. Satisfying ending. Would read more by this author.

Potential for real life results

Great character development, storyline was easy to follow, enjoyed from start to finish. Highly suggested.

America down but not out

In the America Offline series, Weber proves once again that he knows how to weave an entertaining apocalyptic tale. If you are at all familiar with Weber's work than you already know he quite good at ratcheting up and maintaining high tension and delivering solid action. In America Offline he does it again. The power grid is down, the worst storm in a century his hitting, the world is erupting in chaos, but Nate Bauer is going to do whatever he has to ensure that he and his pregnant wife survive. There are many series like this out there, and for me my enjoyment always comes to down to whether or not I like the characters, and I definitely do. Solid characters, good actions, and an engaging story make this one worth your time. I also happen to be a big fan of Gary Tiedemann. And when you start an audiobook that is over 26 hours long, you better enjoy the narrator. (Note it did not take me 26+ hours to get through this one as I find I almost always enjoyed listen at a playback speed between 1.25X to 1.5X defending on the narrator, for Tiedemann 1.4X is perfect.)
