Good Book Strange Choice of Weapons

The book was entertaining, had a good story line and was somewhat suspenseful, but the gun choices made me think the author doesn’t know much about SHTF or Guns. For example there are multiple time where a 22 caliber pistol is carried and used. One of the characters also used a Sig Mosquito 22.

Although I’m a little critical about the weapons I’d listen to another one of their books.

Old Time Prepper

I enjoyed this post-apocalyptic suspenseful thriller and recommend to anyone who likes post-apocalyptic. My favorite character was Buck (old timer prepper) and Paul his son in law. It was full of action with touch of humor especially with Buck. They are out to save Susan (Paul’s wife and Buck’s daughter) and Autumn (granddaughter/daughter) after radiation attack. I was a little upset with the ending but realize not everyone can survive. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you

Wasn't terrible but nothing memorable either. I'm glad the story is done so I don't have to hear anymore of the insufferable Buck character.

Thrilling Event

The level of detail and thought put into this story line is amazing. It really makes the reader think.

solid story

great story with a fantastic character build up. Bradford and Weber always deliver quality and Johnny Heller did a great job bringing the characters to life.

Hoping this won’t happen but much is predictive

Given this was written in 2015 it’s scary where we are now as compared to what is written here. Hoping this isn’t our future.

I love the story I also love the plot but I did not like the ending

Scaringly real scenarios of the very near future.

The authors of this series are apparently well versed in how to survive the apocalyptic scenarios they write about; that are ever so plausible.
The series is full of references to current and recent past events that make their fiction uncannily so much more possible.
If you don't believe in prepping for a potential interruption in our current lifestyles before you read this series, you will be after you have absorbed the plausibility and reality of the fiction these guys write.

A great example of this genre

Long Road to Survival: The Complete Box Set: A Post-Apocalyptic Survival Thriller.. Action packed and gripping from first page to last, and two of the best main characters ever. Buck is grumpy rude and single minded but he is my type of guy.
This complete collection will make a great gift.

liked getting to know the characters and and how they interact with each other and support or don't agree, but with luck they make it work.
