Loved this story

The story didn’t drag on as everything seemed important. We had many twists in the story. Overall I loved it.

Good continuations with a lot of flaws

The biggest issue with creating an overpowered main character is that it diminishes suspense. Instead, most authors place supporting characters in danger, as they're not overpowered, creating genuine suspense.

The author does employ this tactic, but it's taken to an extreme where it becomes clear that nothing will happen to these characters. At one point in the book, the author spends around 20 minutes describing how everyone is very scared and trying to hide. However, it means nothing. These are characters we haven't interacted with in any way before; we don't know them, and it feels a lot like when an author wants to portray a character as evil by describing extreme actions. It becomes meaningless and just filler.

I hope the author stops this approach, as it feels like an attempt to reach a specific page number, akin to a student padding an essay, rather than adding anything substantial to the plot. The more the author does this, the more it seems like they're just trying to waste time until the main character resolves the situation.

A pretty good sequel to a slightly different take on iseki

Very well read, the story is a bit generic in places but has enough twists to still seem fresh despite being in such a crowded genre.

Not as good as first

First book was better. This one is still good, but jist doesn' compete with the first. Narrator is decent. Over looked some of their voicing habbits in the first book expecting it to be addressed and corrected in this one. They were not. The unnecessary pauses in the middle of sentences or for certain words makes her sound robotic at times. Please fix that for next book.

Less adventure, more comedy

As a huge fan of the first volume I was so excited for the sequel. And overall I had fun, but it is not as good as the first volume.

Just to get over the negative. The steel tank character is just a boring companion, with Noelle not interacting with Amilia as much which was the more fun relationship in the first volume. There also less adventure with the two main character as it focus more on the restaurant and other screen time is on the Angel mission. Also one of the scene does make Amilia a bit of an asshole to justify why she does not simply save the world (the explanation later help, but still feel like lazy writting).

Now the negative out of the way, the comedy is actually fun. I like the new other world chef they introduce which work off Amilia well. I like the message of continuing what yoh love and getting god at it. With an obvious comparison of skill and class to job experience and how important it is to give people chances. Noelle is badass and competent and the few scene with her and Amilia was great.

I also do like the world building and the weaving and intersecting plot going on in the background. Also do love that it does a good job showcasing Amilia strenght and speed that does leave an impact.

Overall I can't wait for the third volume, just wish for more Noelle and Amilia together or Noelle having more fun companion.
