Love this narration!

I love Gentry…..hello, Christian Black!! The Genry I needed! Gregory Salinas as Karson…WHAT?! Thank you, Sir! Roxelana Waters as Leana… perfection. The narrators make this book even better. Definitely one of my top listens of 2023.


Along For The Ride is a mixing bowl full of messed up. Mostly beyond the realm of morally grey. Yet here I am, lapping it up. MMC’s, brothers and hitmen. Both psychopaths who just love to unalive but the FMC manages to find her way into their insane little hearts. I shouldn’t want these men, but I do and I’m not even a little ashamed! 😗😗😗 If you are an avid Dark Romance reader, this book is a winner, especially with the amount of tropes! You may also find yourself giggling at the brotherly banter, especially about fetishes and needing to one up each other. As always, pay attention to the trigger warnings, this book has plenty.

It Was Great

The story was really good! I love dark MFM stories and this one did not disappoint!

Good Second Edition to the Series

Loved the story, but I was not a fan of the narration so it has taken me a while to get through this one.

Heed the Trigger Warnings because they are in there.

This is book two in the Ride or Die Romances and MFM Dark Romance, Reverse Harem. Gentry and Carson are brothers and hitmen that carjacks/kidnaps Leanne in the car that she stole getting away from her abusive boyfriend. They embark on a road trip to do a job and she is along for the ride. They are also given a few other jobs as they make their way to California and that's when she realizes what they do and that she is just as psychotic as they are. All their hostility turns into lust, lots of spicy moments and killing along the way.

Nice addition to the series

Much like the other stories in the dark hitchhikers romances, this was a very well written dark romance. A good amount of spice pretty much every chapter, the story line was good with a solid ending. I’m personally not a huge fan of breeding kink, which was pretty heavy in this. Not that I don’t mind it, I felt like it was just called out specifically too much. The performance from all the narrators involved was very well done!

Not for me

I didn’t enjoy most of the book. A bit gross and the spice wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would be. Very weird book.

Breathy MMC Narration

I never leave reviews however, I wish someone would have told me before I bought this. The male narrator does this weird audible exhale at the end of every sentence. I may be nitpicking but I found myself listening for the breaths rather than what he was saying.

Wow check your trigger warnings!! But hot damn that book was spicy and twisted and an absolute ride!!!!!

Dark Romance FTW

Good book, for sure worth the credit. Narration was very well done. Two guy romance with plenty of sex (sweet and messed up) and gore. Obviously trigger warnings. I think I liked first book more( not really a series and only one name mention to connect the two) but this one had a better ending. I listened to this start to finish non stop, partly cuz I'm crazy like that but credit where credit is due. Everytime I thought I might get bored or want to move on (or sleep) something hooked me back in. I love this author and now avidly await all her new releases. If your looking for darker, grittier, more messed up with tons of Hot sex… Lauren Biel is your girl❤️🔥👍🏻

Lost interest

Looked like it would be a good read but seemed to just get predictable and lack luster as the story went on

Dark yet packed full of humor

I love how Lauren is able to blend trigger happy dark romance with humor. The relationship between the three characters actually had me laugh out loud more than a few times!
