Absolutely thrilling ! Every chapter held my attention. I kept guessing who or what would happen next. A plus !

Crime thriller and important social commentary

The complex details to provide the essential backdrop to the captivating plot were mesmerizing. Each chapter include building blocks to the story with foreshadowing of events to come. A must read book to shine the light on real terrifying possibilities growing in our country. The author's writing is brilliant with spot on references to southern culture that is relevant but very ugly and horrific. Extraordinary novel.

Great Book

This had me on the edge of my seat. I loved the narrator. She was phenomenal and the author did a great job with the storyline. Never mind the naysayers; this book is good:)

Gripping

This book had excellent twists and turns and had me engaged the entire time! Looking forward to diving into Wanda Morris' next book!
