Would've enjoyed more story.

I really enjoyed the beautiful descriptions and I really enjoyed the story. However I almost feel like this could have been made into a three-part book series, developing on the characters a bit more. I just don't even remember Jessica that well and was a bit disappointed in the end. I would have loved to see the first book with her and Nathan. second book all about the crimes developing a love story. third book developing a little bit more character build on Jessica and the love story. overall I enjoyed the book and the description were wonderful.

Good Read

I really enjoyed this book. I don’t normally read murder type mysteries but I wanted to honor the writer to finish it. Had no clue how it would end and was suprised.

Eloquent riveting exciting!

I enjoyed listening to this suspense thriller as this is my first timer of a Stacy Abrams’ novel. The unfamiliar words excited me to lean into this fast paced murder mystery. The narrator tone and inflection made it an exhilarating listen. Ready for the next one!

Excellent read!!

This book will keep you at the edge of your seat until the very end. It is a very complex story and well worth the read!!

Excellent story line

The story was suspenseful, unpredictable and engaging! Overall, it was a really great read and an easy listen.

Push through

I probably had to re-listen to the first 2-3 chapters about 15 times. I had a lot going on at the time but regardless it was worth pushing through. The story got SO good.

Some of the reasonings for the characters thinking what they thought were weak but easy to look past because overall entertainment was achieved.

I also wanted to listen to Stacy Abrams books and this was a great start. Will definitely listen to more from ‘Selena Montgomery’

Narrator

The narrator made all characters sound white as snow…i like the story but definitely would have loved it if there was a lil seasoning on the narration.

Great story but

This was a wonderfully intellectually based story. However, I wish they had expanded on that and not so much the adolescent romantic angst. l enjoy a steamy romatic element, but this overwhelmed the mystery a bit. All in all, a very enjoyable read.
