why is it so good!

I can't wait for the next one in the series. it was so well done. I absolutely love this author. if you give this book a shot you will definitely not regret it.

Like no other novel

I was bl9wn away by this story. It was more unique than anything I've read in years. I loved everything from the age of the Mc to the setting of the world. looking forward to the series.

This man don’t miss! Even in the heat of battle he don’t miss! Seth ring hasn’t let me down yet and this book is another masterpiece worth every minute of your time, if you’re willing to take the chance.

I wish these books were longer, but that's really my only complaint. finished book one in one day, and im starting on the 2nd now.

Really good

Really enjoyed the story and the cat was definitely the best character of the story. the MC was good even if extremely naive is some stuff but can easily move pass that because he is capable and hard working. the villains are the cliche villains like in any super heroes story where the city is besieged by extremely large numbers of enemies. and the epilogue made me rolled my eyes tbh with how obvious it was with the "reveal" of the one pulling the strings in the shadows. Will still get book 2 when it comes out

Can't wait for the next book!!! Dang thought they were out already but audible got me, it showed all four books and I was getting ready to buy them and they aren't showing up until June, Sept, Dec😭😭 I guess all good things come to those who wait lol.

Seth Ring does it again.

The world building was well thought out and interesting. The concept of mana creating super heros/super human mutations is an interesting and novel approach. The narrator did an amazing job bringing each character to life. Seth Ring did not disappoint with this new book and I cant wait to continue the series.

Enders Game: Ben Ten the Starship super trooper!

Becoming a major Seth Ring fan. Such a wild concept with and interesting story development. Even though it’s unclear what Marks power is, it feels like an urban fantasy that invites the reader to explore what would’ve happened to Ender if he really communicated with the queen? Using a weak power with an OP ancient martial art takes weakest in a bloodline from dishwasher to local (almost war) hero. And he has a young batman best friend. Is he copying alien powers or is he an alien? What’s up with this got danged cat!??? I don’t think I have a choice or not to read the next one. Will be doing!

Definitely getting more from this author.

This novels narration was top-of-the-line. He makes It’s easy to tell one character from another, which is often hard to do when it’s only one narrator.
I will definitely look for Mr. Proczko when searching for audiobooks.

The story…

Instead of “leveling up” in LitRPG stories, it was more developing certain powers that you already had or were given. Then increasing or adding powers in various ways. Citizens of this city/world are encouraged to join training camps according to their type of power & its level (high to low) then recruited into jobs best suited to them.
The job opportunities are dismal for people without power.

The MC wants to protect his city and defend against alien drones & creatures. His friendships w/other powered as friends, family and foes are key to this story. I love how his cat (?) may be his best power of all.

There’s a small bit of romance which I hope will pick up as new audiobooks are added to this series. Super excited it’s a series bc I can’t get enough of this story in just one audiobook.

If you enjoy a nice guy type of MC, who finds himself in lots of fights, both alien and human. Who wants to grow his powers to defend his city, has a brother who may or may not be a bad guy, has loyal friends, a secretive cat and maybe even a girlfriend too. This series is for you!!
