good book

this is a solid book. nice ideas, good length. the start is a bit slow but still interesting. its worth your time. and credit

Started Good

Like many other stories of this type this story started off great while the MC was alone with his own thoughts and the AI. The idea of his power was also a good one and explored many interesting possibilities. When this MC came in contact with other characters however the failing of the writers skill became apparent. the writer lacks World building skills and dialogue skills when there are many characters present. There are no details and therefore no context for my imagination to lock onto. The bestest story has to offer was in the beginning in the cave. Who cares about measuring clothes and ordering food for other characters? If you don't have anything interesting to write about don't use filler. Have more respect for the reader and your story.

I’m not blind guy

I am listened to all lit RPG/progression fantasy books you can think of I would say 10 rooms is my favorite and this book is my second ever enough about 500 great book

Reduce the amount of lists

I enjoy the story but…. The lists toward the end is where it finally got to me I’m about 4 hours out from the end and I’ve skipped like 6 lists in the last two chapters but other than that worthy the read.

alright, this is now another series I'll follow doggedly. great story, no major headache characters, and the mc stupidity only last so long.

the ten realms combined with system apocalypse!!

this is the start of a great series it starts slow but has a complex magic system that takes place in apocalyptic earth around 300yrs after 21 century.

It has potential

The beginning was way too much crafting and menus for me, but the book eventually started rolling. MC is a burgeoning OP character, but he isn't there yet. Given the scale of challenges he/humanity faces, even being OP might not be enough so that isn't a bad idea for story balance.

His cluelessness got a bit grating at times, as it was inconsistent, but eventually (albeit near the end of the book) he started to resemble a functional adult.

It shows potential overall, so I'll certainly read another one if it shows up in audible.

Jack Ryan + system apocalypse

Great take on litrpg. Takes a post system apocalypse setting with typical rpg races and magic then sprinkles in some nano tech for extra spice. Combined it with a Jack Ryan like MC, special forces soldier, who’s is set up to be killed on mission. Betrayed by fellow humans? Their government?

Great Audio Book

Had me on the edge of my seat wondering what overpowered thing he’s going to do next. I understand what the author was trying to get at with the disparity between Vic’s perception of Arya’s age and how she sees him. Vic has no experience so to him if she’s young for her kind she’s you gb for his kind. She proves him wrong and that’s when the relationship truly begins. He is her protector above all and he’s still kicking butt!

The overall story has potential, lots of RPG bits and interesting world building. Really suffers from three things though.

1. The characters are very cardboard cutout. Just very stiff. The romance plot feels very forced, no real tension

2. Many rewards feel unearned, especially in the second half of the book, he just piles them on. Lvl1 god emperor magic king secret ultra class.

3. The narration had very little difference between characters, they all sound pretty similar. (also who spells out HUD every time????)

I didn't finish the book, I just couldn't anymore at about 90%.
