Short simple and very sweet

What’s not to love about detective Mason and his technical ineptitude, and Jesse’s sweet demeanor as these two men come together?

loved all the books in this series

although I loved all the books and the characters in this series. it bothers me a bit that one of the books was left out. it's kind of like part of the story missing. I find that to be in a lot of the different authors and their series as well. nothing special is fun exciting and it's nice to watch each relationship gets stronger from book to book

Compelling storytelling.

Mason and Jessie’s story is a suspenseful journey that includes the entire testosterone filled narcotics division we have come to know and love throughout the Nothing Special series. My heart went out to Jessie because he’s obviously a victim of circumstance and in need of someone to help him get back on his feet which is where Mason comes in. The two men have a close emotional connection and the storytelling is compelling as are all the books in this series. I listened to the audiobook and I really enjoyed the excellent narration performance of Aiden Snow.
