In 1137 the ambitious head of Shrewsbury Abbey has decided to acquire the remains of Saint Winifred for his Benedictine order. Brother Cadfael is part of the expedition sent to her final resting place in Wales, where they find the villagers passionately divided by the Benedictines' offer for the saint's relics.

Great narrator.

Good simple story. Clever happy ending. I like all of the Cadfael stories and like listening every few years.

Book got stuck at chapter 9

I liked the book, but somehow it got stuck a chapter Nine. Redownlloaded marked it at finished and even started an other book but i can not get it to work again. Such a shame because I do not want to continue the series if i did not finish this book
