A great way to be exposed to the wide breadth of Christie’s work

Like any anthology, the stories are of inconsistent quality, but most of them are pretty good to great. Plus I discovered a lot of other lesser known characters Christie created that I wasn’t aware of. Some of the performances were a little cringe, particularly when the British lady tries to do other accents. Still A great way to be exposed to the wide breadth of Christie’s work

Very Enjoyable Short Stories

The narration is very good and most of the stories are intriguing. The Parker Pyne short was annoying. Fortunately the enjoyment of the other stories far outweighed that bit of regret.

Death takes a holiday

A great series of short stories by Agatha Christie. Starting with Three Bind Mice, witch Agatha Christie’s play the Mousetrap the longest running play is based on. We also have Christie’s famous detectives Poirot, Miss Marple, and Tommy and Tuppence also solving mysteries in this audiobook. We also have tales with Christie’s lesser known detectives. The Mysterious Mr Quinn, who may or may not have supernatural powers. We also have Parker Pyne, a professional wish fulfiller/love expert/ and part time detective. We also get a few Christmas and New year mysteries to. A nice audiobook

Perfect seasonal solace

This collection from Agatha Christie had several delightful surprises. It opens with an autobiographical memoir of Christmas dinner from Christie herself. And one story in the collection turns out to be in a different genre altogether : a delightful romance in the style of F Scott Fitzgerald. The Christie stories are exquisitely read by Fenella Woolgar. Perfect solace for a winter’s night in the year of the plague.

Christie is Classic

Great performance and stories; be aware that about four of these stories appear in other collections- 2 are in a collection of Poirot , and two from Miss Marple. That does not detract from enjoying them again, however.

Good with one caveat

This is a fun omnibus except for the last story The Christmas Pudding. I’m not sure if it’s a different telling or just abbreviated but it is not a good rendition of it. If your looking for this story in it’s full length it is in other omnibuses.

Great stories. Great Performance

loved it. there were a few stories of already listened to or read previously but the performance was amazing.

short stories

a collection of short stories from classic Christie. includes some that I've found in other collections but for the most part these stories were new to me. includes some stories from Poirot and Mrs Marple. narration is generally good and overall this was a very pleasurable listening experience.

have read these before

but still loved it. Three blind mice is always a favorite. as is Sanctuary
