Fantastic 2nd book!

Aaron & Shelly really Knick this one out of the park with their narrations, totally bringing Sophia and Henry so vividly to life!

Enjoyed

Enjoyed learning more about Henry and Sophie. I read the series out of order so was nice to put together the missing pieces. I do not want to give too many details as I love to go into a story blind. It is nice how she has siblings as the side characters.

Entertaining

I read this book a while ago but I didn’t realise just how entertaining this book was until I listened to Aaron Shedlock and Stacy Gonzalez narration. They did a wonderful job bringing the characters and their story to life.
This may be the second book in the series but it can certainly be read as a stand-alone although I’m sure once you have meet one Aldridge you will want to meet the rest of these swoon worthy brothers.
This is Henry and Sophia’s story and it’s a entertaining, heartfelt, emotional roller coaster of a read.
Henry doesn’t have relationships on his mind, he is a stubborn man who has built walls around himself so he could survive the broken family he comes from and when he needs to move back the small town his father called home he drags Sophia his PA with him. Sophia may have thought her boss was the devil in disguise but spending time with him in a small town has feelings she has never felt before coming to the surface but can she break the walls down and get Henry to open up to some fun.
This book ticked all my boxes, it’s well written, the narration is fantastic, it’s entertaining with adorable characters, the banter is witty and funny and it has the perfect mix of passion, humour and angst. I highly recommend this gem.

I Love Henry & Sophia

Listening to Henry and Sophia's story was wonderful. Aaron Shedlock and Stacy Gonzalez were the perfect voices. They compliment each other well. The Aldridge brothers are my favourite characters of Ms. Burgoa. Sophia is Henry's match and can handle his over the top personality.

Perfect narration for Henry and Sophia

A Moment Like you is the second story in the Baker's Creek Billionaire Brothers series. This series follows brothers that don't know each other, and have no love lost for their deceased father. This dysfunctional family basically has to live together and get to know each other in order to inherit their father's estate. The final fate of the estate is a common theme throughout the series, but each relationship is a stand-alone. This series is designed to be a romcom series with some angst thrown in, but not too much angst.

A Moment Like You is Henry and Sophia's story. Henry is Sophia's boss, and he is stubborn and arrogant at the start, and she handles in all in stride. She is definitely the strong-willed, determined, opinionated woman he needs. Their banter and barbs were flying from the very start, and it made the read go very quickly. When we met them in the first book, you could tell that the sparks would fly between the two of them when they got together just based on how sassy and determined Sophia was, and Claudia Burgoa absolutely delivered on that promise in this book.

Henry is really much softer and thoughtful than anyone gives him credit for, and throughout this books, his brothers discover that. But is takes Sophia a little bit longer to figure it all out. When she does, you can tell that their love is based on true affection and genuine feelings. But of course his father's machinations through a wrench in their happily-ever-after.

Great banter and feelings, character development not only for the main characters but the brothers as well. All in all, well-written from start to finish and keeps you engaged from chapter one to the end.

The audio, narrated by Aaron Shedlock and Stacy Gonzalez, is a great way to experience this book. I read it when it was first released and then listened to the audio as well a year later. The story is still just as captivating, and the narration really brings the emotions to life. Stacy Gonzalez makes Sophia even more alive and captivating, and Aaron Shedlock brings a vulnerability to the performance that humanizes Henry right from the start, so it's a perfect delivery of the character.

Looking forward to more of these Baker Creek Billionaires!

Henry and Sophia were a fun couple. Enjoyed this.

Henry and Sophia were an interesting couple. She was a strong woman, very intelligent and resourceful. Her heart kept her in Baker's Creek and with Henry no matter how she felt he was treating her. After being poked by his family, he began to work at his relationship with Sophia. There were plenty of smiles, giggles, and sighs. I enjoyed the story very much.
The narration by Aaron Shedlock and Stacy Gonzalez added to the listening of this story. Both did a wonderful job with the different characters, and they helped me "see" the story.

He loved her before he knew it.

The Aldridge brother's are six good looking, powerful men with different mothers. they have spent most of their lives away from each other and disliking each other. They are far from family. until their father dies and forces them to live together for 18 months in his will. Book 1 in the series is Hayes Aldridge's book titled Loved You Once. Each of these books are standalones, but I have enjoyed them in order.

So this book is Henry's romance, in away it's his redemption. He learns to be human and follow his heart, instead of just doing what his grandfather has set before him. He learns that not everything in life is a business transaction.

Sophia is Henry's #1 assistant. She feels over looked, held back, and underappreciated in her job. She wants to hate her boss, but she is attracted to him. She wants to quit her job, but she would never find another one that compensates her the way her current one does. Henry forces her to move to Baker's Creek when his father's will requires it of him and his brothers. She develops a friendship with the other women in the Aldridge brother's lives. Sophia is a female character that women will love. She is strong, sassy, and is devoted to her family.

I love watching these brother's grow.

Listening to this story was so much fun. The narrators did an incredible job bringing these characters to life.

“It’s insane how good this story was!! I thought I loved enemies to lovers but after this audio OMG there’s a whole new chapter for me. It’s absolutely amazing how Aaron and Stacy portrayed Henry and Sophia’s story. Every emotion, feel and the intensity of their love was fascinating and the sexy times were more than amazing. Plus there was humour too so the connection between felt even more real and deep. And a shout out to Claudia for writing this awesome second book in the Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series and for that epilogue she deserves an ovation. She knows how to make a girl fall in love with their character all the time and the Aldridge brothers aren’t the exception. Wow! Highly recommended.”

Love, finally

I really enjoy dual narrators, and Aaron Shedlock and Stacy Gonzalez bring the characters to life. This is a beautiful story about personal growth and developing relationships. Henry and Sophia have a complicated relationship; he is the CEO of a large company and Sophia is his assistant, except she is so much more. Listening to their voices, with the emotions and different tones added so much to the story. Sophia is so expressive!

Claudia Burglars writing has always been superb, but she really excelled in this story.
