Love a good new series....

This is the beginning of a new series by Claudia Burgoa and it's the first one of the series. It's the start of another fantastic family series. I loved meeting all the brothers and the ladies.
Hayes is a nerdy hot doctor who loves science. He hopes to gain a second chance at love with his first love Blaire. Blaire is a do gooder (I know there is a different word for it I just can't think of it) is the best as I can describe her. She travels to far off places to care for others.
Blaire, Hayes, and his brothers are put into a situation that seems hard to accomplish at but but maybe they can just pull it off.

I have read and now listened to this book and loved hearing it brought it to live for me can not wait to hear the rest of the series.

The narration enhanced this good story.

Broken hearts and mistrust led the way through a father's desire to mess with his sons yet bring them together. So began the Billionaire Brothers tales. Hayes was the oldest and not happy with the situation, but he became less his father and more of a better man when faced with the will stipulations. Blaire was roped into the situation as well. Their past haunted both of them, but the attraction and love were still there. I loved how Hayes supported Blaire once things came to light.

The narration of Connor Crais and Stella Hunter was wonderfully done. They brought the characters to life, and I enjoyed the story more, I think, than if I had just read it myself.

I received a copy of the audiobook, and this is my unsolicited review.

Second Chances

This is the first book of the Aldridge brothers series. Hayes and Blair had first loves. Then he left for med school meaning he was leaving her. Things ended badly between them. Having to be in the same dwelling complicates the plans. They have a chance to make things better if they can get over the anger. I have read the book previously but wanted it brought to life in audio .
Stella and Connor did an amazing job of conveying the emotions of Blair and Hayes.

A wonderful start to the series

Loved You Once is a wonderful start to Claudia Burgoa's Baker's Creek Billionaire Brothers series.

Blaire and Hayes romance was so well written. The connection between them never really died despite the years they spent apart. It was interesting seeing them get to know the older versions of each other and learning about all they experienced while apart. The pacing of their relationship was nicely done. I didn't feel like they resolved everything too quickly, nor did it feel unnecessarily drawn out.

The series set up was really well done and provided a solid reason for the brothers to return to town. It will be interesting to see how each of their stories plays out.

Both of the narrators were great and I thought they did a nice job bringing the story and characters to life!

Promising new series!

Great start to a new series. I am very much forward to the next ones - hopefully theyll be available soon. This story has many new characters to introduce us to, but despite that the writer has somehow managed to make the story fluent and easy to follow to - and also easy to remember everyones names. Overall a good story of forgiveness and second chances and complicates family dynamics.

Amazing!

Having read the book when it was first release has nothing on the actual audio. At first I had a hard time with the male narrator because it sounded monotone but then he picks it up with the interactions with his brothers and Blaire and I was hooked. I laughed, I cried, I gasped, and I swooned. I love Stella Hunter and in this story she doesn't disappoint. Together, the narrators do a phenomenal job of bringing this dysfunctional family to life.

Enjoyed this series

Enjoyed listening to and reading this story of Hayes and Blaire. It is a second chance romance. I love that we see more of his family. I read the collection out of order so was nice to learn more about Dr. Aldridge. Connor and Stella were the perfect choice to narrate the story.

Beginning of series

What a great plot. This is book one in a lengthy series that I am sure will tell the entire story but we get the beginning with Hayes and Blair and how their past has come full circle and they are thrown together in a twisted last wish of Hayes' father. We get a glimpse of the other brothers and a view of how this eighteen-month sentence to remain together in Baker's Creek is going to turn out. I enjoyed this book and looking forward to book two.

Stella and Connor did a great job of conveying the emotions of Blair and Hayes. I enjoyed listening to both of them.

EPIC audiobook!!!

I loved all the Aldridge brothers!!! Can you say hot alpha males that are so diverse you can't help but fall in love with all of them. Hayes and Blaire's story is a perfect second chance romance. If second chances are your jam then you will definitely enjoy this one. I am eager for more from The Baker's Creek Billionaire Brothers series. The narration was perfect, Connor Craig’s is a wonderful Hates and Stella Hunter was just right for Blaire! Loved You Once by Claudia Burgoa is an EPIC audiobook and will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

Loved this Funny, Moving and Sizzling Romance!

What a great start to The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series! These Aldridge brothers; Henry, Hayes, Pierce, Mills, Carter, Vance, and Beacon, will drive you crazy and make you swoon all at once! They have been apart for longer than they have been together. Now with the ruthless stipulations in their late fathers will, they are forced to give up their lives and move in together, in Baker's Creek, for eighteen month's. Blaire Wilson, has also been summoned as Carter's widow. She is nervous to see these men again after their last heartbreaking encounter. Hayes and Blaire were lovers in college, making plans for their future when Hayes broke her heart and moved away to concentrate on his career as a doctor. He has always regretted leaving her and never forgotten her and the deep love they shared. But they were young and he was afraid he was too much like his absentee father. When he sees Blaire again, he is determined to prove he is a better man, and win her trust and love. But he also wants the trust and love of his brothers. I loved the slow burn romance between Hayes and Blaire as they learned who they each were again, earning their admiration, trust, and love. There is alot going on setting up this series and the background of everyone's lives. The men have each felt betrayed by their father, and each other. They are all closed off in some way, feeling vulnerable, and cautious on giving up their successful lives only to be left behind, again, by the family they have always yearned for. Each brother is unique, charismatic, and sexy. I loved how they all had that one person between them that they deferred to, not wanting to show too much before the other. I am really excited to get to know them all more with each book. I loved Henry's assistant, Sophia, who was fun, and sassy, and was the magician that kept everything running smoothly, I can't wait for more about her. I also loved the quirky towns folk and their affinity for social media!
I really enjoyed how narrators, Connor Crais, and Stella Hunter, brought these characters and story to life. They easily bring out the push/pull between Hayes, Blaire, and all the brothers, allowing us to experience their vulnerabilities and strengths, and sizzling chemistry!
This is going to be a hilarious, moving and sizzling series that you don't want to miss!
