A wonderful story

This is a wonderful story and the narrative is really good. I hope there will be another book or two to tell Miles and Vance's stories. Also to tell Deacons story. I listened to this one all the way through without stopping, I enjoyed it that much. Really hoping for more of this story.

Favorite in this series!

Pierce and Leyla's story is my favorite in the series so far! This was an emotional read for me. From the tragic past that Leyla endured to the horrible people that Pierce calls family, their story is full of raw emotion. This second chance romance pulls at the heart strings and absolutely is one that I will remember. It was such a great story in this series. I love watching the brothers form a stronger bond with every story that passes. Great read!

The narrators did a great job bringing this story to life. I felt the emotion in their words. Great story!

Great story and great narration

This is an emotional story and Teddy Hamilton and Kelsey Navarro did a wonderful job bringing all the emotions to the surface and the characters to life.
This is Leyla and Pierce’s story and it’s the one I have been waiting for. Their story will have you on the edge of your seat from the time they meet to the final line, it’s sweet yet passionate and it’s full of obstacles this couple need to navigate to find the HEA they both deserve.
Pierce loves Leyla and he thought he had found his soulmate but his past and family history keeps rearing it’s ugly head and for that reason he try’s to push the love of his life away...
Leyla knows her future is with Pierce and she is not going to walk away without a fight...
This is a love story that’s tender and passionate with family issues you can relate you, it’s a story about a man wanting the best for his love even if that means her life is without him. This book ticked all my boxes, I smiled, I swooned, I sighed and at times I wanted to bang this couples heads together. It’s a romance that will appeal to a wide audience with this captivating love story so I guess all I need to say is please one click this gem, you won’t be disappointed. Great addition to the series.
Wonderful story and wonderful narration

My Heart!

I don't know what it is but I was sucked into this story from the beginning. For me it's different because Layla and Pierce are already married, even if they ready for divorce. Their second chance comes while they're still together an my heart broke for them. It was heartfelt. I love seeing them from the start and how they came to be at this place in their lives. The story does have humor and lightens up the story and in the end I had a big smile on my face. The narrators do such an amazing job with the characters and I could see and hear them as Layla and Pierce. I felt them more than the previous book. I will be listening to this again.

oh, Claudia didn't play with this one. She brought in the big guns to destroy my emotions!

This second chance small town romance is one of a larger series that I've come to adore and know that it will be in library of repeat listens.

First I have to applaud Kelsey and Teddy for their stellar performance as Layla and Pierce.

My heart hurt for these two and their tough journey to their HEA.

This book pulled at my emotions in all the best ways. There's heartache, angst, love and friendship that makes this book a 5 star for me!

Emotional

The performance by Teddy and Kelsey had me all up in my feels. I feel like Pierce and Layla’s book had me super emotional. I felt such a connection with the pair. This one is a must listen to. It is a great story, has memorable characters and if just overall fabulous.

Enjoyed the characters and the narration.

A quickie marriage does not necessarily lead to an HEA. Leyla and Pierce grew apart, headed for a divorce. This was their journey back to each other. I loved how Leyla kept Pierce hanging by not signing the divorce papers until she felt the time was right. Pierce realized he needed to up his game and do right by Leyla. My heart felt for him as he gave her what she wanted just as she supported him in the game his father willed them into. I enjoyed all the family members, recurring characters, as they supported and pushed these two together.

Teddy Hamilton and Kelsey Navarro did a wonderful job with the narration of this audiobook. The many voices each had to cover was entertaining and well done. They enhanced the storytelling.

Pierce & Leyla

I love and was rooting for this second chance romance. Pierce and Leyla’s love started and stayed strong throughout the relationship EVEN though things hit rock bottom. Each of their beginnings were heartbreaking - urgh, Theo things they had to endure. Burgoa did a fantastic job setting up their story in the first two books and I am stocked to be listening this. She also excelled in sharing the brothers growth in their personal journey and as learning to be a family and treat others with respect. Something each of their moms seems to not teach them.

Narrators: first time listening to both narrators. Enjoyed listening to Kelsey and felt Teddy kind of exaggerated Pierce’s voice but overall 4.5⭐️s on narrations. Looking forward to listening/reading the next book.

The plot thickens

I love this series as each book builds on the characters. This book focuses on Pierce and Layla. How they met and fell in love then fell apart. They are forced with the rest of the family to move to Baker’s Creek and live together for a year. Some surprises bring out more truths and Pierce and Layla find each other again.

Teddy Hamilton and Kelsey Navarro were great.
