Emotional & angst-filled story with so many feels

My One Regret by Claudia Burgoa was my first read by this author and I loved it so much. The feels were strong in this one! Emotional and angst-filled, I devoured it. So when I had the chance to listening to the audiobook, I jumped at the chance.

Kaden Hades was full of regret. He let the love of his life go to put his kids first. He felt he was doing the right thing, but he never stopped loving her. Then he finds out she was in an accident and this time he could lose her for good. He realizes letting her go was his biggest mistake, but is it too late now?

When Kaden goes to Sadie’s side, he is full of memories and remorse. This story was heartbreaking and all-consuming. I fell hard for Kaden and Sadie. We get their story in a mix of past and present. We get to see them fall in love and see what shatters it all. I cried, I laughed, I hurt, and I cheered while listening to this story.

Narrated by Stephen Dexter and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker, they brought this story to life for me. My emotional state when I finished listening was indescribable. I have no words. This was an emotional roller coaster story about love, hope and second chances. I absolutely loved these characters and their journey. I highly recommend My One Regret by Claudia Y. Burgoa. This is a must-read and/or listen for sure!

Love this book. Love Stephen Dexter as narrator. He does most of the talking so loved it even more. Hope to find Tessa’s book, My One Desire, on Audible soon!

Claudia Burgoa is a go to author for me but this book slipped past me so when I was given the opportunity to listen to it, I jumped at the chance. This story touched me on so many levels and I found myself sighing and yelling out loud throughout this emotional listen. Stephen Dexter and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker did a wonderful job bringing the characters and their journey to life.
Kaden and Sadie thought they were going to be together for ever, they thought they had found their soulmates until they were torn apart and Kaden walked away. But walking away left him realising he had left the woman of his dreams and he has regretted ever since. When he gets a phone call saying Sadie has been in an accident he has no hesitation dropping everything and rushing to her side and that’s when this love story really gets emotional as we go back and forth between the past and the present. Sadie is vulnerable and hurt and he will do what ever is needed to protect his soulmate.
This story is emotional and the narrators did a wonderful job bringing these emotions to life, their performances really did justice to this heart breaking romance that will stay with me long after listening to the final words. I highly recommend you read or listen to this wonderful romance.

Beautiful

I loved listening to this story. it was emotionally gripping with heartache and I felt so bad for Sadie. She gave so much love to Kaden's daughters wanting to be accepted and loved back. Tess and Hannah were victims in their mother's manipulations. I found myself upset with Kaden because of how he treated Sadie.
This was my first time listening to narrator to Stephen Dexter and was impressed with his talent. Stephanie Nemeth - Parker was vtillant as always.

Emotional and Gripping story with Great Narration

Having read a number of books by Claudia Burgoa, I was excited to listen to My One Regret narrated by Stephen Dexter and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker. Lately I have been gravitating towards single parent stories and this one ticked the boxes.
Kaden and Sadie are in love until they are torn apart and Kaden ends their relationship. For Kaden, Sadie is the one who got away and he has regretted letting her go. When tragedy strikes and Sadie is seriously injured, Kaden will do whatever he needs to protect the vulnerable Sadie who is not in a position to protect herself.
The performances by Stephen and Stephanie certainly brought this story to life for me. Their performances were emotional and did justice to this heart breaking and at times angsty story.
