Publisher's summary

Sutton
Jasper’s been my best friend my whole life. From losing my family when I was young, to living together and running our business, it’s always been me and Jasp. I feel more for him than I should, but confessing the truth would be the first step to losing him.

Our lives are so entwined, it’s hard to tell where one of us ends and the other begins. It’s killing me more each day to be this close to him and not be able to call him mine, so when it hurts too much, the only choice is to walk away.

Jasper
My life is perfect. I have my family, my business, and my best friend. But when Sutton starts pulling away, everything changes, and it’s ripping me apart, forcing me to admit hard truths—that I feel different when he touches me; that I need him always by my side.

The thing is, I’m in love with Sutton, and apparently he feels the same. Loving Sutton is as easy as breathing, yet knowing my parents won’t accept us, not with all the backward things they raised me to believe, makes each day a struggle.

But one thing I know for sure—the world doesn’t make sense if Sutton and I aren’t together. We’ve had a million little moments to prove it. And to be the man he deserves, I have to fight for him, for us, and maybe that means fighting for myself too.

A Million Little Moments is a double bi-awakening, friends-to-lovers romance filled with first times, self-discovery, and two men destined to be together.

This book deals with themes of homophobia and contains homophobic language.

First rate narration. Gorgeous story.

Riley Hart is hit and miss for me. But when she hits, it bowls me over. Introspective and poignant. Disarmingly complex. Sweet and fiery. Layered and nuanced. And John Solo has officially made it to the top three narrators I’ve ever heard. This performance was really heart stopping. Jacob Morgan and Christian Fox have serious competition in this guy. Sheesh.

Good Book…But

I enjoyed this book as I do many of Riley Harts works. I of course enjoyed the fact that it had a true HEA and the fact that it addressed many of the issues faced by the LGBTQ+ community. I would have given a 5 star review for all categories but I felt that it shouldn’t have taken to chapter 12 for Jasper to get to the “Hey, I’m GAY” realization. It felt like “filler” in an effort to add additional pages. I would have stopped listening to the audiobook out shear frustration if I hadn’t been on a long drive from coast North Carolina to Asheville . Fact, not fiction.

Really sweet!

I loved this book but it made me realize I don’t love that type of accent. That’s just me though. I still felt the emotion and that was so beautiful it’s just the type of country twang wasn’t for me. Overall a solid 4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Touching

“We kissed while I swallowed down his laughter and tasted his happy tears. This really was the greatest day I’d ever had.”

Be still my heart, Jasper & Sutton. Smalltown's best friends who have been platonically dating for a long time. They live together and run a business together. But as they age the face more and more pressure to settle down and start families with the right woman. It causes them to have to face their feelings and their future.

This is an emotional story, but also super sweet. I loved watching their journey, even if it was at times heartbreaking. Sometimes you need to fall apart a bit before you can grow and move forward. And the hurdles they need to face in order to make their love work aren’t small, though not insurmountable. But it makes the happy ending for this beautiful pair all the more accurate and satisfying.

"Every piece of the puzzle had been there inside me, waiting for me to put it together, waiting for me to find the courage to fit them together the way they were always meant to be."

Also, Narrator John Solo was a great pair for this story. It really felt natural under his talent.

Bi Awakening for the Ages

Jasper and Sutton are the kind of goals I think we all hope for. To have someone not only love and cherish us, but also share the bonds of friendship the way these two men do. I love that the characters in this world are flawed and sometimes awful, because life is just that way sometimes, but it helps make it easier to appreciate the beautiful and perfect things in contrast. Great story and the narration was fantastic!
