Perfection 🔥🔥🔥

I can’t say a bad word about this final book in the NYC stonewall series. Max Walker, you absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one! I love my MM romances chock full of steam and was absolutely thrilled with the amount of descriptive heat between Zane and Enzo. I disagree with the other reviews that there was too much seggs, but I guess it’s down to personal taste. I will most likely listen to this one again, it’s that good. 🥵

📖 Story comment: reasonable pace, likeable characters, good end to the series.
If you can dig through all the s*x (not even 30 minutes in and Zane and Enzo were getting busy), the story concluding the Zodiac case was good - although I would have liked the "big climax" to be a little more "something" given how long this killer has plagued the community.
The relationship between Zane and Enzo has matured and they "talk rather than react" which I appreciate of mature characters. But this one had too much s*x in it for me (to the extent I was fast forwarding through it) and there are some inconsistencies in the details from previous books, which was noticeable doing back to back listens of the books in this series, but overall I enjoyed it.

🎧 Narrator comment: Greg Boudreaux can do no wrong (in my opinion). He suits the characters, has good cadence, inflections and intonations and it's easy to distinguish the characters from each other. Overall an enjoyable performance and he bought the story to life.

good mystery, hot guys

I listen to Stonewall investigation book 1 and then four since those two books go together even though there are books two and three in between them.

Max Walker is a new author for me. Crazy since he has so many books but good for me because I will be busy for awhile on them. I really enjoyed this whole series. I enjoyed the romance, sexy times, mystery and murders to solve. Now, next to the Miami office.

Once again, I enjoyed the narration. Greg Boudreaux adds some spice to the characters and the story. This series appealed to me because I am a fan of mysteries with a dash of romance. This series was a romance with a tiny dash of a mystery involving a serial killer. Again, this was mostly a romance. I didn't find the serial killer to be terribly intimidating, and the mystery wasn't really much of a mystery.

If you want a romance story that is packed with melodrama and a dash of mystery, this will be an entertaining adventure.

It’s entertaining for sure

The narration was great. The writing is not always fluent and the story didn’t make full sense to me at all times but I like these over the top in love couples and their always so perfect physical encounters … entertaining for sure.

Perfect wrap to a wonderful series

Loved this conclusion to the NYC arc. It was touching and the ramp up to the finale was tense and engaging.

What an ending. Greg Boudreaux did an outstanding job with this series. Max Walker writes amazingly. well worth the credit and your time to listen.
