Chris Gardner has a good life in New Orleans. He owns a club in the French Quarter, has a wonderful crew of people who call it home, loyal, caring friends, and even gets his kid fix by helping to take care of his chef’s daughter. Short but nothing

This story is amazing. I really liked it. It was kinda, I actually kind of wanted a little bit more. It was enticing. It was like one of her other books. I absolutely love and I want to more to the series. It's a book about gargoyles and I absolutely love that series and I wish there was more. She is one of my favorite authors and she did it again. She really enticed me in this little bit. A little short story, I liked it a lot, and I think if you really want a chance these stories would probably be best, especially some of her longer stories are a little too much for a beginner, but they are still enticing. But I absolutely love these books. I love this author I think she's an amazing author.

Chris has been caring for his bar and all the people that work there. He has also been trying to move beyond lost love. Dawson recognizes that he lost what matters the most in his pursuit of fame. But he has returned for a 2nd chance. I like that the story is really what can happen in one day. You see the hope to for all but especially Dawson and Chris despite work that still needs to be done. #CMCon26

Calmes Holiday Hurt/Comfort

Once Upon a Christmas Song is a standard Mary Calmes smoopsy hurt/comfort romance, but every once in a while it's just the ticket.

Elevating it to another level is the lovely performance in the audio version of the marvelous Gary Furlong. I hope she hires him to do all her narrations in the future.
