Andy, a chipmunk who just celebrated his sixth birthday days earlier with a group of his woodland friends, is caught in a massive storm that sweeps through his area of the forest. Andy, in his memory, goes back to that pleasant day when everyone - friend and foe alike - embraced his birthday celebration by getting along. He has fond memories as he falls through the branches of a large maple tree that had been his safe harbor in the storm.
