A dark tale about a Duke

This was a good twisted tale about a Duke with a disability. The narrator held my attention throughout the entire story. This was a twisted love with different twist and turns. Well worth the credit.

Really enjoyed this book.

This was an interesting story and different from your normal historical romance and I don't want to give any spoilers away. The hero and heroine were strong, smart and witty. Some good secondary characters. Plenty of dialogue and some hot and steamy sex scenes.

The narrator did a fantastic job I thought. You could totally tell the difference between the male characters and female characters. I would definitely listen to more of Carmen Rose narrations.

Loved this unique book!

This book was so much fun! Ransom, our hero, was funny and sweet. The conversations between him and Izzy were so good. I love the Moranglians and Ransom’s reaction to their special craziness! It was such a good story and Carmen Rose did amazing voices!

Sweet, fun and spicy

I’m sure many people will fault the story for “historical accuracy” or other such nonsense, but I loved this cute little romantic romp. With a big wink and a nod, Tessa Dare revels in flaunting all things ‘tropeful’ in a cleverly modern romcom in fancy dress. Truly a fun, heart lightening read.

This was a well written romance. I listen to it twice in a row. I could not put my headphones down. The reader was also very good with her voices.
