Excellence

I enjoyed every minute of this audio book. It is a well written book, thought provoking & excellent. I hope there are many more future books in this series.

Do Not Like the New Narrator

The narrator of this book has changed the tenor of the characters series from the first two books and doesn't make the book as good as the first two.

Jekyll Island Murder Mystery

I really liked this installment of the Chance Meridian series. The setting was really descriptive on Jekyll Island, Georgia. The cast of suspects was plentiful and made it fun to try to figure out. It could have gone several different ways who committed the murder.
This is a great series!

Not one of the best

I normally don’t enjoy Dick Hill narrating style but the gentleman narrating the last books I listened to isn’t the best. I won’t buy book 5 if he narrates.

Another great book

Another great book, performed with a great southern accent, for those of us who are from the north. This one kept me guessing right up until the end.

the humor

Authors series is well thought out and always has an interesting twist and the narrator has just the right amount of sarcasm and humor.

Became redundant

I agree that the change in narrator changed the whole feel of the books. Stories became predictable. Perhaps widening the characters might have helped. You almost knew there would be some difficulty at the end involving his wife.

Regarding the change in narrator...

I think the change in narrator makes sense given where the main character is at in his life

The new narrator's voice is able to lend more credence to comical situations (which I felt were most strong in book 3) which helps mark the more positive direction the main character's life has gone

I agree it was a little jarring at first, but after reflecting a bit, it seems as the author's tone has changed, justifying a new voice for our man Chance

Fast and Fun

This series is fast and fun and can't put down. The characters are phenomenal as are the stories. Read or listen, you will love it!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Surely couldn’t figure out who the killer was until the author decided to let me know. Had a few good laughs as well. Great narrator as well. Thanks for the entertainment.
