Publisher's summary

Book Four in the Druid Series

Immortal, seductive, able to shift into a wolf, and a downright sinful highland warrior, Kennard O'Caha has had only one mission for the past several centuries - find and destroy the dark sorcerer Athol. Now that the job is done, it's time to park his motorcycle, kick up his boots, enjoy a few drinks, and possibly find a honey to warm his bed for a night. After all, nothing quite refuels the magik like pleasure.

That was the plan, anyways.

Too bad life had something else in store for this magikal biker bad boy. When a stubborn redhead is set in his path, it's all he can to do to keep from instantly claiming her - his mate. Evil has its sights set on his woman and he's not about to let her go without one hell of a fight.

Dark but funny

Loved! This book had some comical parts in it that left me in stitches. It was full of smart assery and strong females. On the other hand the dark magic was strong with this one. Kennard is drawn to a small town after he thinks he has killed a dark mage, one he has been after for years. What he doesn't expect to find is a woman who makes him lose control. Maggie is drained, unable to sleep due to nightmares that have been a constant companion for as long as she can remember. But when a romance novel worthy hero pops in her life she feels safe. Explosive! I love the build up and the loss of control .
The narration is fantastic. To me it made the smart assery even funnier.

Keep the title -- it fits.

Where does A Druid of Her Own rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top third.

What other book might you compare A Druid of Her Own to and why?

This is the third in a series.

Have you listened to any of Mason Lloyd’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. A number and he is a favorite narrator of mine. He is especially good with accents, Scottish, Irish, English. These guys are Scots and he certainly brings them to life.

Any additional comments?

I read the book some time ago. I loved it and love this format as well. Brother and cousin Druids all centuries old having never found their mates. Bingo, bad ju ju comes to town and the lady is somehow involved, victim, immortal after the bad guy, or friend. The guys are in search of the demon or bad guy and they find their mate. The guys are funny, sexy, and female magnets. Gotta luv em all.

Druid of her own

All she did was whine petty much throughout the story, plot shopworn. To many heroes, not even sure if they were heroes.
