Short Delightful Read

This narrator is great at accents! I really like the druid shifter books, they seem a bit maybe grittier is the right word. They are on the shorter side, but don't lack story development for it. Duncan is the wolf shifter alpha hero and Catrina his not quite human mate. She has every intention of fighting her own battles and Ilove that kind of heroine. Duncan just gets stupid over her and it's sexy and cute. More druids please!

Fast pace listen!

If you’re looking for a fast pace and sexy read look no further! This book was a quick listen and allowed for me to escape for a few hours into the Druid shifter world.
Duncan and Catrina are a great couple. My heart went out to Catrina as she suffered at a very young age and she has persevered. I enjoyed the plot and I would have love the battle with the demon to have been a bit longer because it was great reading the scene. I would recommend this book to mature readers as it does have sexual language and scenes. The narrator, D. C. Cole did a wonderful job. I have come to enjoy the books he narrates. The array of voices and inflections he uses are superb!

Entertaining and gripping

I have not read the previous storied in this series so they are able to be read as stand-alones, but I think I would have gotten more out of it if I had the rest of the series as a backdrop.

Duncan & Catrina's story will captivate you, and make you want more. The hardships they face only serve to bring them closer together, and make you wish you had your own Highland Werewolf!

It had action, heat, and oh yeah a few funny moments. Duncan and Catrina are mates, but Duncan is in denial... big time.. Liam to call grandmother. Catrina's parents were killed 19 years ago by a demon and now she wants revenge. Duncan wants to kill the demon that murdered a young couple and caused their daughter to be left alone. Hmmmmmm do you see where this is going?? I hope so. No spoilers! I loved this book and it hooked me almost from the very beginning.

Absolutely loved it.
Had forgot how much I loved this series.
This is book 5 in the series and it's the story of Duncan and Catarina.

I have to say that I listened to the audiobook and daamn that Scottish accent.
Action packed and full of humor it's a page turner.
Amazing characters, well written that will make you laugh and cry..

I LISTENED TO THE AUDIO AND LOVED IT EVEN MORE THAN THE BOOK. I CAN'T RESIST SCOTTS ACCENTS: EITHER READ OR LISTEN JUST DON'T MISS IT. --Duncan, wolf-shifter, Druid, and very hot, has returned to the scene of the crime. His personal failure to destroy an evil demon before he kills another family like the one 2 decades ago. His only failure demon chasing and protecting those who cannot protect themselves.

He calls on his cousin, another powerful druid. They sense the evil coming. Ducan is distracted by the pretty waitress in the bar they wait and plan their attack. She doesn't look like she belongs in this place where wearing a clean Tshirt is overdressed.

Both Catrina and Ducan fight their pull and keep their secrets.

Action, humor, evil creatures, all brought together with amazing characters and a visit from another family member who will make you laugh and hear his story.

Fantastic!

This is a great read. It is highly entertaining to listen to while tending to mundane errands and the dreaded...... housework. For all of the brevity it is a complete story that leaves you wrung out from the adventure you just had at the hands of Mandy's imagination. I absolutely loved it, now on to the next!

Short, Sweet and Spicy!

This is classic Mandy M. Roth, has all the elements of what defines Mandy as a paranormal romance author. I love this series and I loved this book. If you love the Guardian series and Ops, you will love this! With Mandy's books, once you have a taste, you can't stop! You will need to read it all!

Duncan is a Druid wolf-shifter and Catrina is a quiet (but badass Fae). I love the chemistry between these two (because I always love the quieter women within hidden power), and in classic Mandy fashion the romance is delightful. The Druid sorcerers are mischievous and completely hopeless at times with women, yet there is light-hearted banter between the men that keep you coming back for more! If you love Mandy's books and paranormal romance, this will be a lovely addition to your afternoon/lunchtime reads!

Who Doesn’t Love a Sexy Scotsman

I haven’t read or listened to any others in this series and didn’t find that a disadvantage. This can be read as a standalone. I liked Catrina, she was a strong female lead, not a whimpering female and Duncan as her mate stepped up when needed! I really enjoyed this and I’ve listened to DC Cole before and enjoyed his narration. Spot on as usual and highly recommended!
