how is this not plagiarism?

The Sarah J Mass books came before this one, not sure how she was able to publish using the exact same worlds that Maas books made and just creating her own little characters. Idk if this was fanfic that got published but it's disappointing that it's not a new story on its own.

Loved it!

I loved this book and the characters when I first read it and now listening to it was amazing and like reading it again for the first time. Christian and Nicol did a fabulous job at bringing the characters and the story to life. I can’t wait for when the next one happens. I hope it does and that Christian and Nicol perform again.

She finds herself in a predicament where her captor plans to sell her to the highest bidder. Aurelie confides in her fae bodyguard, Eero, slowly uncovering her real truth. She is not just a mortal human, it turns out there’s more to her past.

This book is for those who absolutely adore a good Fae Romantasy. Its for the readers who love fated mates, magic, and found family.

I did find myself getting so irritated with Aurelie at times. It’s like she doesn’t trust herself and therefore doesn’t trust her feelings. She’s incredibly insecure and I just wanted to yell at this woman to get out of her own head!!! AHH!

Now lets talk narration. BEAUTIFULLY DONE! Another book where two narrators were perfectly picked for the roles. It was a 10/10. Nicole and Christian really brought Aurelie and Eero to life.

I tend to listen to my audiobooks while commuting. I found myself constantly getting lost in the story. Between the narration and the plot, I didn’t want my drives to end. I wanted to keep absorbing this book.

I am so excited to see how this series develops.

Terrible

Terrible writing - like someone fed the components into chat got and this came out. Not worth the time at all.

Poorly formatted banter, senseless conversations

I'm not really sure if this author has ever had an argument in their life. When the FMC says they "hurled insults", I am so confused how childish back and forth whining is hurling an insult? The "fight" between FMC and MMC make absolutely no sense whatsoever. Unfortunately for me I never DNF so I finished it. I still honestly have no idea what this story was about.

I just couldn’t get into it

I don’t know why but I was just praying for the story to end. I feel so strong for being able to finish a story so bad. Being able to read a story this bad has inspired me to go back and read books that I couldn’t bring myself to finish. I know that sounds crazy, but I want to be able to say that I read those books entirely. So in a way I’m so glad I pushed myself through this because I can do it for other things too.
