Elizabeth Evans…Queen

My god Elizabeth Evans is the queen narrator. She made an already amazing book so much better. The quality of her recordings, and the clarity when she swaps characters sets the bar.

So much better with Evans reading this! She is the voice of Maas. Highly recommend trading in your old ones for this!

Why so much vomiting!!

This is a pretty good series. But beware, this author has a vomit fetish. There is always someone vomiting or on the verge of vomiting - it’s pretty gross and is very annoying by the end. I hope she doesn’t carry this into future books.

The performance of this audio book is superb. Of course the epic fantasy adventure continues with this excellent addition and is done true justice by the performance.

Elizabeth Evans for President

I listen to these books like I watch Grey’s Anatomy: unabashedly and unapologetically binged from top to bottom (usually between the completion of a different romantasy series as a palate cleanser). I knew I’d love the re-release with the Queen of the Maasverse at the helm but was eager for the last three of the series especially. With no disrespect to the original performers (I’m 👀 at you Queen Stina), I needed the continuity and with ACOWAR especially, a less “smiley” performance. You’ve made my freaking summer.

Elizabeth Evans is a queen

Elizabeth’s narration is perfection. Her talent for voices is immaculate. The way she changes Rhys’ voice depending on what mask he’s presenting (or not) is perfect.
