unfinished storylines

most of the storylines seemed to cut of befor the end. had me feeling blue balled the whole time. i think the writer just didnt know how to end a story. there are some hidden gems in here but as soon as you realy get into it, you just get a big F U as the story just ends with know warning.

Pretty good!

I enjoyed this listen. The narrator is really good! Oddly enough, he reminds me a bit of Mike Rowe. Anyway, this book is credit worthy!

Now get some sleep... yeah right.

Okay, the stuffing has officially been scared out of me. I love scary stories, but Tobias Wade has a very unique way of creeping me the hell out. Just add Skip Nelson and you have a deadly combination. I tried to listen to all of these in one setting but found it wasn’t possible, I had to take breaks in between stories and remind myself that there not real. Every time I jumped at random parts my kids would laugh at me. I would defiantly suggest this collection to my friends who are into horror books ❤️

HORROR? I think not

This is not horror. It's a collection of Trump bashing sub par trash. If I want to listen to people bash our president I would put on CNN or MSNBC.

Amazing stories!!!

I absolutely love horror stories, I usually stick to books from Dean Koontz, Stephen King, and James Patterson, I happened to stumble upon Mr. Wade’s audiobook by pure coincidence, it’s description intrigued me and I was pleasantly surprised. This compilation of short horror stories is absolutely BRILLIANT! I greatly look forward to reading 52 sleepless nights.

Outstanding!

The stories were fine, and the performance of the narrator was superb. I definitely will look for other works done by either the author or the narrator.

Nice to be creeped out a little again!

I've got to admit, I usually have a book of short stories,( usually horror..lol) but tend to save them for nights I don't feel like diving into a new novel or continuing one I'm reading. But THIS little grouping of stories have me up nights LISTENING to them vs. getting sleepy. Yes, I'm an insomniac that is not bothered by scary fiction (reality yes, fiction, no) Anyway, for all this coming from One collection & not a grouping of authors has been all the more intriging and totally enjoyable. H*ll, it's only 8:00 pm & I'm gonna "rewind" to the beginning to make sure I didn't miss any!! Nighty night!❤

Most Stories I Heard Are Lame - Few Were Good

The best stories are in the beginning and then they go downhill fast. I only lasted for 4 hours into this book before I stopped. True, I haven't heard most of the book but I heard 17 out of the 51 stories and couldn't stand the last 10 or so. before I decided to give up. The narrator was pretty good though and I would like to look into more books that he has read.

Everything I dream of in horror!

Where have you been all my life, Tobias Wade?! Your collection of short horror stories is scarily close to perfection. Originality, suspense, frights, wonderfully vivid writing - all wrapped up in the deepest, darkest humour. I gorged myself shamelessly on your delicious ideas! Skip Nelson? A wonderful narrator who brought out the best in all of these nightmares. Altogether, a triumph!

Entertaining but ruined by the narrator

The narrator ruins the atmosphere, he sounds too peppy to be reading horrors! The stories are ok but quite similar - I will be purchasing the second though so it hasn’t put me off
