The ghoul population is on the increase. FACT. Creatures' numbers are dwindling. FACT.

Into this sorry state of affairs falls Eve. She's abnormal in all the ways that count to humans, but at Caelum, where she should be among her peers? Even here she's weird. No woman has more than one mate. Eve? She has seven. And the creatures that dominate her mind? There are eight of those battling for power in her soul.

With the war having come to Caelum's front door, Eve and her mates have no option but to escape the perils she faces at an Academy where anyone extraordinary is to be exterminated. On the path to safety, however, Eve and her mates must uncover exactly who she is, and what, if they can ever hope to lead normal lives. But with the revelations come more peril than any of them could have imagined.

Contains mature themes.

I truly enjoyed this series. It kept me interested throughout all books. Even though this is fantasy it has enough realistic aspects to make it something that you can imagine.

Wonderful Trilogy

The final installment was all off campus. They have to leave to get questions answered and the fact they kind of have to hide all the mate marks. There next stop is to meet Adam and Eve. And I had to reread chapters to understand their back story. Back story is a bit wild for me…I mean Adam and Eve and God is a story preached to me my whole life so I have to just resign and say this is fiction and a bit funny. I liked all their last steps moved pretty easy and in the end Eve and her men basically saved the world from the ghouls. It was a really unique series and I really enjoyed it. I will be relistening in the future. I am pretty good at fast-forwarding through the internal dialog cuz with all the different POVs there is ample internal dialog which is repetitive and I guess boring.

Pretty amazing!

books wanted to were amazing book three I had a hard time getting through that's why the four stars instead of five it was just too much bible-thumping stuff that wasn't in the beginning of the book

Best trilogy I’ve read in a while. Especially this third book. It’s very thought provoking as well as entertaining.
